Good article about Atlanta Braves legend Dale Murphy's son Shawn who's fighting for a starting OG on the Dolphins. Hopefully, the caste system won't keep him from reps/PT this season!

After a standout career at Utah State, Shawn Murphy, the son of Braves' great Dale Murphy, is fighting for a starting job with the Dolphins.
Shawn Murphy, a 6-4, 315-pound guard, didn't dress for a single Miami Dolphins game last season after being taken in the fourth round out of Utah State.
Now he's running with the starters in training camp, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
"They just told me I'd be with the ones,"Â the son of the Atlanta Braves' seven-time All-Star told the newspaper. "No warning. No heads up. That's how it was. They're probably rotating people in and out, and it's my time to work."Â
Murphy was quickly beaten out by another rookie last training camp, the Sun-Sentinel said, and it didn't help that Murphy tried to play through a sprained ankle.
So far this camp, he has lined up at both guard spots and played well.
"If you say to me give me two or three players that probably improved the most in the spring, I think Murphy was one of those two or three players,"Â coach Tony Sparano told the newspaper. " Mentally, it became a little bit easier for him. Fundamentally, it was a little better for him...In my mind, Murph gets to go in there, and it's his job to lose."Â
In his last two seasons in college, Murphy had 216 knockdown blocks and allowed just three sacks on 570 pass plays.
