PK Subban made the Canadian team. Marty St Louis was snubbed again.
After scoring the winning OT goal against Ottawa on Thursday Subban acted like a celebrating NFL player. Don Cherry called him out on it on Coach's Corner. Cherry says opposing players not just on the team you've defeated but throughout the league remember those who engage in showboating:

(The above clip doesn't show everything as Subban made gestures towards the crowd).
So last night only an hour after Cherry made his comments Leaf James van Riemsdyk mocked Subban by doing the same thing after scoring the winning goal against the Canadiens.

I see nothing wrong with the celebration.
Cherry bitches if a player did that, but not towards his teammates, but also complains when they do it towards their teammates.
Subban will learn the hard way. He's no Gretzky or Lemieux, he's ok but not that good and no one will protect him. Anything that is deemed "showboating" attracts payback. Some sunny day he'll skate with his head down across the blue line and wham! He'll see stars, wake up later, and wimper "raciss".
Oh come on, its bull**** to suggest players are going to go after a player for a goal celebration or specifically target them for it.
You hit Subban because he plays the most minutes for the Canadiens. Not because he excited he scored a OT goal against the team that knocked his team out the playoffs the previous year.
