I wish all of you McCain voters that "held your nose" and voted for him as the lesser of two evils would have voted for a third party candidate or "non-evil" choice. You talked about wasted votes, what a waste of a voteMcCain was! Instead of voting your conscience and increasing the vote totals of an oppostion party, which would really get the attention of the other parties, you instead opted to continue to support the miserable two party monopoly. Now Republicans will only think it takes just a little changing to win your support back; when the message you should have sent them is a LOT of change is needed. Furthermore you all talked about how much you supported Ron Paul, then why didn't you vote for the parties that represented his ideas not the one that treated him and his supporters (YOU!) like crap!

I did notice one thing today. It seems like the MSM is in love with McCain again. They loved his concession speech last night. I hope McCain doesn't start shmoozing with them again and learns some life lessons from the way they have savaged him the last six months. I suspect he won't learn any lessons at all. He should just retire and Arizona should elect some real conservative while they are still a red state.

What in the name of God are you talking about? When did anybody in the MSM ever ask McCain about the multitude of transgressions he's committed against his constituents, much less "savage" him? This is going beyond lunacy. I challenge you to point to the savagery you're mentioning (purposefully fabricating).

I already know from a earlier post that you think the MSM has been in the tank for McCain. I am sorry, no view could possible be more sillier than that. Everybody knows, even 81% of the American people know (in one poll) that the the MSM has been completely in the tank for Obama. I don't have the time today or the patience to defend a post that needs no defense. Get a clue, no offence intended.

In other words, you lied, and are unable to point to even ONE instance of the "savagery" they committed against McCain. I do not care about a poll. I care about words being pointers to truth.

The networks like MSNBC,ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC, CNN,prominent newsmagazines like Newsweek and Time, most mainstream newspapers and very influential left wing sites like the "Daily Kos" and "Movement.Org" completely were in the tank for Obama and often used words for McCain like erratic, dottering, archaic, senile, warmongering, etc... To me that's savagery when you compare that to the fawning way they treated Obama. of course, I want even try to go into all the stuff they did to Palin which was of course a indirect assault on McCain.
So to wind this up, why call me a liar. Disagree with me if you will, perhaps vehemently so when warranted but to call me a liar causes me to cast doubt on you and your prescence at this site. I have nearly 2500 posts at Caste Football and I deserve better treatment than some pipsqueak little newbie like yourself calling me a liar. Maybe I should just move on from CF, I may not belong here anymore. I know about five posters on here that would make very happy.


some more editing. I come to this site for fun, recreation, information and to make a difference. But putting up with crapola posts from guys like DWFan who accuse me of lying causes the fun and recreation part to go away. I got enough personal issues going on in my life coupled with the end of Western civilization looming upon us and I don't need stupid BS when I come to this site. You are probably right. I haven't been myself since FOX called Ohio for Obama around 1030pm or so Tuesday night. I have been snapping at my girlfriend, ex girlfriend, best friend and co workers. I have even been giving the death stare to every black person I see including a elderly black lady walking across the street today who did nothing to me. I am being a real ass to everybody and I probably shouldn't overreact to some lame post. I haven't decided to leave CF, just thinking about it and tired of the BS from all directions this week.

First off, I consider you a more valuable poster here (particularly for your information in the MMA forum) than myself. Furthermore, there are posters here (KaptainPoop for example) who have opinions that seem to closely approximate mine, yet they seem to be more skilled than I am at presenting it. So, if it will appease you and keep you on these forums, I will go back into lurking mode permanently--after we are done with this exchange. I was well treated in these forums and am grateful, but its main purpose is to support white athletes, and you know more about sports than I do. So if one of us goes, it should be me.
I suppose you know that in the last few days it has been admitted by various media figures that they purposefully, by agreement, *withheld* reports about Palin until after the election. THEY HAVE ADMITTED THIS. Your contention that attacks on Palin were a way of indirectly attacking McCain (wait--I thought he was being "savaged". Why would they have to make their attacks indirect?), as though critically inspecting a Vice Presidential candidate is some kind of idea that should be novel to the press, is a joke. In the light of what has now come out, I suggest you stop that line or argument. It is almost as embarrassing for me to address as it is for you to transmit.
I'm not even sure how to respond to your fury about a few media figures questioning whether McCain cheated on this wife, after the way he backstabbed, betrayed, and humiliated his last. i get what you're saying DWFan. its not like the media just came out and said, "f**k Mac we want OBAMA!!!" no they weren't that "savage"...but i wish they would have been. then McCain might have had a shot.

instead they did something way more nefarious and cunning. they used guile and deceit to convince the american public that the pro Obama bias wasn't there. people like Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, Maher, Jon Stewart, Rachel Maddow, Bengala, the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times etc etc, did an amazing job as coming across as credible media. and americans simply ate it up. whats the old saying, "the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled, was convincing man he didn't exist."

as far as examples, look at the article by a writer from the Washington Post (her name escapes me), where she compares the coverage her own newspaper gave to the candidates. she comes out and willingly points out a clear bias in her OWN newspaper! how of often does that happen in american press? she notes how much more articles Obama got than McCain and how much more positive coverage Obama got in those articles. a brave lady..i hope she has a good resume. she'll likely need it soon.

you can look at the Pewter report about the bias against McCain and for Obama. or the Fordham University study of the same nature. theres been a few man, from some pretty objective sources. look at how far off the NY times and the Washington Post were in their polling predictions. now you might say that there polls had no effect, but think of how many people picked up their papers and read those polls. how many of them said, "damn McCain is down by 11 points, he's got no chance!" clearly that has an effect on voter psyche. no one wants to vote for a certain loser. thats also a big reason why 3rd party candidates don't get the support they probably deserve. its a culmination of all this that made it very hard for McCain to build up any momentum with the undecided voters.

look at how much attention was given to his age, his battle with cancer, his temper yada yada yada. but notice how no one but Fox wanted to talk about ACORN, or Ayers. every time MSNBC talked about it, it was used ii a context of pointing out how "desperate" the republican side was.

McCain was a media "darling" in 2000, because he was a more "liberal" republican, and the media loved him for it..ask yourself why? but now its 2008 and americas got its first real potential pres candidate of african descent. LITERALLY african descet. so the MSM has a giant orgasm of course and they back their man all the way. and as soon as McCain got in the way of their manchurian candidate, their trojan horse, they decided that NOW McCain was no longer the "liberal" republican. in 2000 he was a washington "maverick". now all of a sudden, he's a washington "insider." in 2000, he was portrayed as a "war hero" BY the MSM. but not this year, this year he's a "career politician." in 2000, the MSM liked his "toughness," but this year all they could talk about was his "oldness". remember the post-debate attention given to McCain's "wandering around" the debate stage. man, if ever there was a way to imply a man was old and senile, without having to utter the words "old" and "senile", these MSM types really perfected it this year. bottom line, the MSM media saw the potential Obama had and made him their crowned prince, and after that happened, there was no chance for anybody to defeat him. not McCain, not Romney, not Huckabee, not even Chuck Norris. you could've have changed the lamb, but that wouldn't have stopped the slaughter.

the more i dabble with internet forumns, the more i realize that there are some posters that refuse to deal with reality. they would rather use their posts to defend positions that most knowlegdeable americans would clearly point to as obviously wrong. for them forumns are less about listening and learning and more about simply voicing their beliefs or simply practicing rhetorical skills. it doesn't mean they are bad it just means you're probably here for different reasons.

I did notice one thing today. It seems like the MSM is in love with McCain again. They loved his concession speech last night. I hope McCain doesn't start shmoozing with them again and learns some life lessons from the way they have savaged him the last six months. I suspect he won't learn any lessons at all. He should just retire and Arizona should elect some real conservative while they are still a red state.

He certainly had affairs on his first wife but there is no evidence at all of him cheating on Cindy. Look at the nasty article the Times did on Cindy McCain two weeks before the election while never doing nothing but praise Michelle Obama.
The networks like MSNBC,ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC, CNN,prominent newsmagazines like Newsweek and Time, most mainstream newspapers and very influential left wing sites like the "Daily Kos" and "Movement.Org" completely were in the tank for Obama and often used words for McCain like erratic, dottering, archaic, senile, warmongering, etc... To me that's savagery when you compare that to the fawning way they treated Obama. of course, I want even try to go into all the stuff they did to Palin which was of course a indirect assault on McCain.
So to wind this up, why call me a liar. Disagree with me if you will, perhaps vehemently so when warranted but to call me a liar causes me to cast doubt on you and your prescence at this site. some more editing. I come to this site for fun, recreation, information and to make a difference.
