That was brought up for why the Jaguars wouldn't sign Tim Tebow even though tickets and jerseys would have sold like hot cakes. Because they had no incentive to do so since that kind of revenue was distributed across the league anyway.

Like dwid said, obviously we here understand that winning is not high on the list of priorities in the NFL.
1st priority for an NFL owner is to make sure there are not too many White players on your team.
2nd is to make sure the few White players you have hold politically correct opinions.
3rd is to make sure that any skill position White player dosent get the ball enough to break any famous negros records.

The Cowboys are the only team with a financial incentive to win. In the 1980s every NFL owner except Jerry Jones decided to pool their trademarks together so they'd be more easily enforceable. The agreement also stated that every team would share in merchandising profits. So when a Tom Brady jersey is sold the Browns get as much money from it as the Patriots do. The Cowboys on the other hand get all the profits from their own gear. This is largely why the Cowboys are the most valuable team in the NFL. If the Patriots hadn't signed that agreement in the '80s they might be the most valuable team.

If the average DWF understood how the NFL really worked financially, I'm sure many would quit watching this mess entirely. The Raiders, Browns, Jaguars, etc can suck year after year but yet their owners are still making as much profit as say Robert Kraft? How could fans of those teams fork over money when "their teams" don't even care about winning.
Between the profit sharing and all the corporate welfare fleeced from taxpayers by local governments, the NFL is a fascist entity.
The profitability of the team is only important to the ownership. Wins and loses determine who gets to keep their jobs or get fired. There is no excuse for guys who depend on getting a new contract following the all-black all the time philosophy when guys like Belichick have bucked that trend and gotten really rich.

While it's true that coaches who don't win get fired they still always manage to find jobs in other places as coordinators and then a little while later they become head coaches again. And mind you they're still making very good money as coordinators, usually 7 figures or very high 6 figures. But that's only if they follow the caste script. So yes they definitely have an excuse. Win or lose it doesn't matter, if you play by our rules we'll always take care of you and make sure you have a very high paying job.
People who buck the system are taking a major risk. As soon as they have a bad season, which is very easy to do, they get fired and they probably have trouble finding another job. Look at Eric Mangini, he gave the caste a system the middle finger when he let Peyton Hillis become the first White runningback to rush for over 1000 yards since 1985. He got fired in 2010 and didn't get another NFL job for 3 years, and that was just to become a tight end's coach

I don't know how I missed your post earlier. You are so right. The entire system of sports in the US has been changed, designed to be an instrument of social conditioning. That's because the usual suspects, who print our "money" in the first place, connived and used overt and covert teamwork to buy up as much as they could in different areas of sport - combine that with control of the MSM which allows even more leverage for one of their own to be pushed into areas of administrative control here and there, and now you have tools that exist first and foremost for social conditioning.
And we all know it isn't only the NFL.
