Some time ago I had a neighbor, none too educated, who told me he was corresponding on the internet with a lady from Nigeria. So I said oh you like 'em dark huh? He said what do you mean? I said well you know Nigeria is a big country in Africa. He was working on his fence at the time, but I could see him thinking. I also added that it was known for it's internet scams. He didn't say much after that but I never heard of the Nigerian lady friend again.

I like to think I saved him some money.

And now it looks like I might have saved him from being on the wrong end of the fork.

Nigerians are the main immigrant group moving to Ireland these days. Come to think of it I believe these immigrants do make fun of Ireland's 'bland' cuisine. Spuds are just so boring.

If Im not mistaken those are stills from a documentary I saw years ago about Freetown. If its the same one they also had little babies hanging upside down along a close line butchering them for that nights dinner.
