Damn! Hartline with only 53 receiving yards on the day and now with one game left he needs 22 more for that magical 1,000 yards on the season. Tannehill has a terrible game going 10 for 27 against the Bills.

Green Bay takes the lead. Flynn has played well for Green Bay but doesn't target Nelson enough.

I thought Eddie Lacy would be another bust Alabama running back but he has remarkably good footwork for a fat guy.

22 yards is pretty close to a cinch. That will be back to back thousand yard seasons for the much reviled Brian, which if achieved will put him among the best White receivers of the past 30 years who have been "allowed" to show their potential.

Hopefully Gregory's injury isn't too serious.. He's about the only Patriot in the back 7 with any brains...

Where is Dane Fletcher??? It literally hurts my eyes to watch Donte Hightower in coverage.. And who the hell is Jamie Collins? Its like they'll put almost anyone in there instead of Fletcher...

Three brutal first-half turnovers for San Diego. It's only thanks to their defense and Oakland's weakness that somehow the score is still tied.

Fletcher is injured Upside, disappointing as he was starting to feature more. So far so good for the New England Patriots, Amendola and Edelman finding holes and the defence playing well fingers crossed they beat the horrible Ravens.

Yes, but I,'d like him to be more consistent. There have been quite a few games we're it seemed he didn't show up.

Flynn with a passer rating over 100 so far. This is the guy the Raiders cut in favor of Terrelle Pryor.

I agree, the defense should be able to hold Cam, but the situation changed with less than 2 mins. to play and I'm sure they (the defense) was playing loose to prevent the big play.

As for the offense, it's the oldest play in the book and it works 90% of the time, fake the off tackle or dive and drag the TE. Graham wasn't even in the game for the last series, I think they showed him on the sideline! The worse thing to happen is the TE end's not open and Brees runs instead of throws and the clock keeps running!

All I'm asking is for 1 pass, at least it could have loosened up Carolina's "D" for a little better yardage for the run.
Yeah but it still could be risky, what if there is no space to run for Brees if the tight end isn't open? He was sacked 5 or 6 times with pressure in his face all night. He has a habit of having too much confidence in his accuracy and gets picked off, like trying to squeeze it in a tight space between 3 defenders, just because he has done it so many times before. The same reason Farve still would throw across his body, because it worked so many times for him. So there is the chance of that happening instead of him running.

Graham has been playing hurt all year torn plantar fascia and a few other things, so maybe he aggravated something? Plus he can't run block, they would have been all over the fake if he lined up tight. They could have ran it with Ben Watson, he has made some catches, and was decent with the Browns.

Remember, coaches have been known to move players down the draft board when they score "too" high on the wonderlic. Most follow Parcell's rule on picking a qb, one of them is a score of around 26 (obviously doesn't apply when drafting black quarterbacks), which is slightly above average if you convert it to IQ, 112. Come on, I know you are aware that NFL coaches aren't the brightest group like people would have people believe. They spend all of those hours at the facility sleeping in there to tweak a few aspects of a few plays. It isn't that hard.

80 percent of all NFL offenses are the same. Thats why guys like Gruden like to use long worded names for play calls, makes them feel smarter.

It is probably harder managing/motivating/keeping grown men in line, since many don't play for the love of the game and have off the field issues. Not to mention they are still teaching basic fundamentals of football because players STILL don't know proper technique on how to tackle, how to block etc

even the bright ones tend to mess up and overthink something and wind up making dumb decisions, but like i said after I edited my post, pretty sure the same scenario happened against the Patriots this year.

Who, Hartline??? He's been consistently productive over the past six weeks and also scoring some TDs. What more do you want from him?

Got to question their preparation and drive when it comes to playing against bottom feeders.

Only two hundred yard games on the season and multiple games with only 30 yards in a game. That is what I am referring to.

Sky sports in England just said maybe it is Geno Smith's lack of mental tools that are affecting him and causing his inconsistency, love hearing honest analysis occasionally!!

The irony of that being how deeply the tabula rasa BS has infected English culture

He hasn't had less than 50 yards in a game since Week 9 and his lowest receiving yardage in a game this season is 34. Find a black WR to rip on, Hartline has had a very solid season.

According to the announcers, Woodhead is successful because of his "patience," not because of his "speed or athleticism."

To be fair he has had a good season Hartline, I do look at the box score sometimes and think he has gone missing but I think its because we are always looking for white receivers to have such big games we get it out of perspective when they have an average game. One thing is for sure for all Wallace's massive contract and bigging up in the media he has played second fiddle to Hartline this year.

Hartline has 444 yards and 2 TDs in his six most recent games leading into today, with a low of 51 yards during those games. He's been one of the top 20 receivers in the league during that time span and is among the top 25 for the season. To criticize him is to be no better than the DWFs who have hated him since the day he was drafted.

PIT is like a bad rash that rash that won't go away. It will be a massive shame if this team somehow sneaks in to the playoffs. Hopefully GB can win today and put all that to rest.

. So now I am ripping on him because I would like him to be more consistent? Wow, just wow! He's one of my favorites I would just like too see him have more 100 yard games and burn defenses more like Decker and Nelson.
