Absolutely horrendous interception thrown by Tebow. The jock sniffers will have fun with that.
I hope I'm wrong, because I love him, but the constant criticism has affected Tebow. He may not even make the Patriots.
When did they change the facemask rules for RBs?:yell:
Must be one of those whites only penalties. I swear it would take some extraordinary mental gymnastics for an intelligent man to convince himself that this NFL racket is the slightest bit legitimate.
I agree with the fact black quarterbacks throw nothing but safe, short passes. But then why can't the young white players do it? Why don't the coaches set them up for success, with easy throws, too?
Hillis is looking great.
Moose Johnston was vocal in supporting Hillis. Hopefully they'll keep Hillis and James as backup tailbacks and Leonard as the third down/utility back. Doug Martin (who isn't much bigger than Danny Woodhead) was durable last season but that doesn't mean he will be again this year.
Amendola looks like he could lead the entire league if he stays healthy.
After a year of not playing and listening his throwing coach "experts" trying to make him into Tom Brady, Tim Tebow looks lost. IMO Tebow's best asset is buying time while the defense scrambles to try to defend him running or throwing the ball deep. All I see is a futile attempt to make him into a poor man's Tom Brady who occasionally has a predictably scripted run for an equally predictable short gain. If I were in control he would always be threat to run, scramble, or throw and almost never have scripted belly dive run. It just seems like even in New England all imagination goes out the window when Tebow is in. He needs some good games to wrap up the preseason.
I actually think when Irvin isn't around the duo of ebonics laced jokes he is an insightful commentator. When he is around these fools it's like his mind regresses to his crack fueled days of peroxide escorts and drags on the pipe while spewing nonsensical ebonics....:twitch:Yes, Moose was very complimentary of Hillis, unlike his broadcast partner, whoever that was. The partner could not help with his caste-speak, referring to Hillis as being "Alstottesque", and also that he "reminded him of Moose a little bit", to which Moose immediately replied "Nah, if he was like me, he would be blocking!" The partner then reluctantly said something along the lines of "Oh yeah, he (Hillis) is a pretty good runner".
I believe Hillis has made the team after this evening's performance, but Tebow, as much as hate to admit it, did not help his cause with a pretty bad game.
As for Bigunreal's comments regarding the NFLN, spot on. Warren Sapp, Deion Sanders, and Michael Irvin are off the charts on the repulsiveness scale. I've already downgraded my cable package and no longer receive that worthless channel.
2) The buffalo dwfs have such a hard on for Manuel like he's the best thing since Jim Kelly. they are impressed by the big brute averaging 5 yds a pass while Kolb and tuel have had the most long balls. I just don't get it. I can't wait to see their reaction when the qoutaback doesn't live up to expectations. idiots.
I've been to some of the Bills message boards and the DWF reactions regarding Manuel are pretty hard to read. The Bills were always one of those teams that traditionally had white QB's so I was pretty surprised to see them go black quarterback in the draft this year. I was almost certain their pick would be Ryan Nassib (who will probably end up having a better career than Manuel) Manuel wasn't even good in college so I have no idea how the brass up in Buffalo expect him to be an NFL caliber QB. All of his throws in the 2 preseason games he's played have been dink and dunk type passes. Color me less than impressed.
