AP Offensive ROY - The Gremlin
AP Defensive ROY - Luke Kuechly
AP Defensive POY - JJ Watt
AP Offensive/MVP ROY - Adrian Peterson
AP Comeback POY - Peyton Manning
The DWF's are at it again. Andrew Luck had the most 4th quarter comebacks on a less talented team with virtually no running game and a shaky Offensive line and still got into the playoffs. The Gremlin and LaRussell had a stronger supporting cast. Strong running game and Offensive line. It is simply astounding.
Second, this wasn't Adrian Peterson first major knee injury. He played last season. Adrian Peterson is not the first afleet to play well after major knee injuries. Medical science can fix knees. Neck injuries are much harder to come back from. Peyton Manning was given a very small chance of playing again when he was cut by the Colts. He sat out a full year. With age catching up to him, a weak neck and not even playing at 90%, miraculously he ended the season with very impressive numbers. Not only should he be Comeback, but also Offensive Player/Mvp.
Anyway, congratulations to JJ Watt and Luke Kuechly, they had no clear competition. I am happy that they won and rightfully so.
