My wife just gave birth to our second son, 9.3 pounds and 19.5 inches long, a lil guy compared to his brother who was well over 10 pounds, but he moved around a lot more in the womb, maybe that had something to do with it. Big when compared to other newborns I saw though.

Maybe a great White athlete to come out in 2 decades? :)

dwid, congratulations on the birth of your second son! I have 2 boys, (young men) of my own. If you want great white athletes, begin training, (plyometrics, push-ups, core strength), early and often (both my sons were all-state athletes), but more importantly stress the academics, read to them NOW, and have them begin reading asap. I believe reading as much and as often and early as possible is a big key to their success academically!

Thanks for the congrats guys. I dunno about d ends. The oldest just wants to run the ball when we play, doesn't care about tackling he will just run up to you and try to punch the ball out, but he is projected to be 6'2 to 6'4 so I don't know (maybe dual threat qb? hehe) This new baby is more aggressive so far, moved around a lot more in the womb, maybe he can be the d end hehe, or linebacker or safety (Both of our families just above average in size so I think he will be too big for corner).

Of course this is all wishful thinking on my part, as long as they are healthy and whatever they want to do in life, but the rule is they must participate in sports growing up, health is a priority. High expectations no matter what but yeah I at least expect them to participate in athletics until they graduate high school and I am sure they will want to since I am a football coach. I think too many kids are coddled and not pushed to their fullest potential in life. The 3 year old already has done gymnastics (which helps more than you think, I got the idea from McGuffie's dad being one)

Carolina Speed, yeah, I already do that with our 3 and a half year old. The wife mainly takes care of the academic stuff at this stage, he can read really well for his age, is in Christian pre school for 4 and 5 year olds and got in there when he just turned 3.

we even have a kids size pull up bar, its meant for adults but it comes down really low if you want to lay on an incline and do an easy pull up. He just started that, I had to wait because we were roughhousing when he was younger and his arm came out of his socket, no big deal, just common in young toddlers and there is a certain age where they can put high pressure on their arms.

but with me being a teacher (well im thinking about switching back to electrician since with common core and all of the other new guidelines) and my wife having a degree in physics and rotates with the pre school and teaches some days they definitely get the academic stuff.

Too many parents are lazy and sit their kids in front of a tv screen or now a computer. We wound up getting an x box but only have the kinect sensor games which detects body movement, so he has no video games where he can just sit there, all of them he has to move around, and some of them I even have a hard time doing. Thats what we do when we need some time to ourselves.

Yeah, I want to do more videos but more stuff on my plate lately as you can tell. One thing that limited the videos last year is that I would think of a White player, and there would already have 3 or 4 video highlights on that player. People are starting to recognizing White talent. People were shocked when Chase Thomas wasnt drafted.
