Goran Dragic helps lead the Rockets to a big win over the Lakers. Dragic was awesome scoring 26 points and dishing out 11 assists! The kid gets better and better all of the time. He needs to be a full time starter. I think the Rockets might be finally realising this although it took an injury for it to happen. I'm not going to hold my breath though as the NBA has a way of making white basketball stars disapear. Hopefully I'm wrong and Dragic is going to be the full time starter. I love watching this kid play and man is he athletic!

Jason Smith had a hard foul on Blake Griffin last night. Surprisingly, Jalen Rose defended Smith, whereas Stephen A Smiff called it deplorable and wants him to be suspended 10 games minimum...

I just wanted to continue to say that we need to get behing the Houston Rockets. They are the team to root for. The are currently in the 6th seed playoff spot out west so it would take the worst losing streak in years for them to not make the playoffs. They are safely in to be honest. Dragic is blossoming into such a star at the point guard position and just like in the nfl, it took a trade and an injury for him to get time to prove himself. He has had 26, 15 and 22 points in his last 3 games and the Rockets are red hot. He loves to throw alleyoops to Chandler Parsons and Scola has had another solid season. Chase even had 15 points off the bench last night.

So let's try and stay behind this team. They are no the Twolves but they are still very fun to watch along with being a very athletic team. I think they have a good chance of winning in the first round but we will have to wait and see who they will be matched up against.

One last thing on another note. It's good to see Jimmer Fredette getting a few minutes due to injuries of another player as well. He had 17 points and 13 points in his last few games. I still hate him being stuck on the Kings but we have to root for him regardless. There is still no reason on this earth that he should be getting so few minutes on such a terrible basketball team with so many ball hogs.

Chandler Parsons has been great in limited minutes. In the Rockets last meeting with the Thunder, Chandler was assigned the task of shutting down Durant. While Chandler has never been known as a great defender;it speaks volumes about the rookie second rounder. Parsons has the skill set and the athleticism to be a triple double threat every night with 30+ min.

Goran Dragic in two starts for the injured Kyle Lowery; has averages of 15 PPG 9.5 APG 3.5 RPG 1.5 SPG and only one turnover. All while shooting 55% from the field, and 43% from 3. The numbers compare very favorably to Lowery; and while Lowery averages .5 APG more then Dragic he also has 2.5 more TOPG. Dragic also bests him in the shooting % mark and it's not even close; Lowery shoots 43% from the field and 37% from three. And while Lowery is being touted as an all-star Dragic rides the pine, makes no sense.

The underwhelming Courtney Lee continues to steal minutes from the supremely talented Chase Budinger, Lee is currently injured and both Budinger and Parsons will see an increase in minutes.

Hello everyone I have not been around in a while, I have endured and am currently in the process of overcoming a very severe knee injury.
I am very glad that the Rockets are doing so well with most of their biggest contributors being white. I really was hoping to see them match up 1-8 with OKC because they would win this contest. As I mentioned back in January Parsons shut down Durant in their first match-up, and continued to do so through the regular season. He has taken the starting 3 spot from Budinger, if only they would play Chase at the 2 this would work out perfectly. Dragic has played brilliantly and this team looks like it could go far.

It's only one week till the playoffs. Tonight is a big matchup between the Rockets and Mavs. I'm a little torn on this one because I love Dirk Nowitzki and it would be cool to see him get a chance to go for back to back championships. I still have to stay with the Rockets though as they are similar to the Twolves in their fairness to white players. So I'm rooting for Houston. One more note on Dirk Nowitzki though. He now has over 24,000 points in his career! What an outstanding accomplishment! Keep it u Dirk. If he can get over 30,000 points, it would be similar to Jim Thome hitting over 600 career homeruns. He will be in rare territory.

The Suns still have a chance as well but there is no way that the Suns, Rockets and Mavs can all make it. One will and possibly two teams at the most will have the chance to make the playoffs.

Don't look now, but the Jazz are suddenly in the playoff mix. Though not as white as years past, they still have Gordon Hayward who has finally turned into the player I hoped he'd become. He had another solid game in tonight's win against Portland with 23 points.

I guess I'll be the first to comment on Metta World Peace's random act of violence on James Harden. Similar to Ndamakung Suh's after his famous head stomp, Mr. Peace is claiming the vicious elbow to Harden's head was unintentional. ESPN offered expert analysis from two fine journalists, Stephen A. Smiff and Magic Johnson.

Smiff said it was clearly intentional and that Peace should get a 1 to 3 game suspension. If I recall, Kevin Love got 2 games for a questionably accidental head "stomp" or step on Luis Scola. Scola was not injured in the slightest. Harden left the game with a concussion, the severity is still unknown. Additionally, Love had no "criminal history" in the league, whereas Artest is a notorious offender. He should definitely be suspended for the last couple games of the season, plus the playoffs.

Magic started his take by saying he was mortified as a Laker, and that he was tired of having to defend the actions of fellow Lakers. Curiously, he then stated that he didn't believe that Artest was trying to hurt Harden.

Bottom line, ESPN has yet to put forth any commentary unequivocally condemning Ron Artest.

I hope David Stern is furious as his league gets another highly publicized dose of TNB.

Whether you call him Ron "Arrest" Artes or Metta "NO" World Peace, the results are the same. Some guys are so lucky to make millions despite the fact that they would be in jail if they were a normal guy for some of the stupid things that they do. Classic double standard. Don't forget his teammate throwing Barrera to the court last year in the playoffs and Kobe who has always been dirty. Typical Lakers!

I'm excited to see what happens with Dragic and Nash. They are both free agents. Dragic has been incredible since he was put in the starting linuep. From dunks to threes to defense and assists. The guy can do it all. I would prefer to see him stay in Houston though. Nash deserves a chance at a ring so I hope he leaves the Suns and goes to a team that is already a championship contender.

With the Rockets out, the Orlando Magic are the team to root for. JJ Reddick has 31 points last night for a new career high to go along with Ryan Anderson scoring 24 points. Let's go Magic!

I'm not sure how it's possible for a team with this dynamic combination of real athletes to be so horrendously bad. After all, there's only a couple of minor-role playing whites on the team. Maybe that's the problem. Those guys, Mullens and Carroll (along with the Mexican guy, Najera) are the cause of most of the losses, no doubt. Best get rid of them and get a couple of more bruvas.

Every time I see one of the "educated" journalists refer to thug Artest as "Metta World Peace," without breaking into laughter, I am reminded again that we are living in an Idiocracy. What is the dividing line on these juvenile legal name changes? I can't wait for one of the affletes to change his name to something really obscene, and watch the jock sniffers struggle on how to handle the situation.

How is Tyler Hansborough not a starter? He absolutely dominated when finally given a chance last year, and is a number one pick. Why doesn't "racist" Larry Bird demand that he play? But then again, what happened to all the rest of Indiana's white players? Orlando is a much better team to root for.

The level of play in the NBA now is atrocious. Teams struggle to reach 80 points in a game. When I was a kid, teams regularly scored in the 120s and 130s. As I noted in the NFL Draft thread, we may eventually see the league have to lift the quota on white players, due to the absolutely horrific black "talent" pool they draw their players from.

There is no suspense, no real surprises ever in the NBA playoffs. What is there to watch? While they could always fudge the numbers, I'd love to see their ratings.
