Nate Probasco

I just wanted to start a thread on the other super
talented sprinter on the Huskers.Here is a great article
on Nate.When he came to Nebraska,he was a 235lb
linebacker but switched back to track.It kind of reminds
me of Stamer and Wariner.What is going on with the
football team.They must be idiots.He lost over 40lbs
to get into track shape & is now a all american.

Probosco seems talented.. his combination of size and speed makes for some interesting possibilities in the long sprints

Nate just missed out on the 100 final but ran a
respectable 10.43 in his heat.Not bad considering he
rarely runs the 100.He did qualify for the 200 Meters
Finals tommorow with the quickest time of the day at
a 20.53!I think he will win the Big 12 Champs tommorow.
He could be the next Wariner within another year or
two.He is only a sophmore!

fastest qualifier in the big 12 meet with a 20.5x .. not too bad for a soph.

Hey guys,what is going on with Nate this year?I'm assuming that he has been hurt or something.I have heard almost nothing about Nebraskas best sprinter.Any info?

He ran a 20.88 at a Nebraska meet last week.
Dusty Stamer ran a wind aided 10.53.

Nate won 200 in Lincoln in 21.34. At 400 Aaron Buzard was 2nd in 47.20 and Morano 3rd in 47.71.
