OREGON

Sopomore Kellie Schueler defended her state titles in the 100, 200, and 400m. But even better, she set state meet records in all three individual events (12.01 100, 24.54 200, 55.04 400), and was the anchor on Summit¡¯s state meet record 3:55.11 4x400 relay!

Just saw that Kellie has improved her times this year to 11.89 100m, 23.95 200m (7th fastest in the country), and 54.25 in the 400m (also 7th fastest in the country).
She's a junior, so she has time to improve even further.

Unlike footbaall high school track stars in America usually have no chance because they do not believe in themselves. Wariner was an exception. I hope one of these kids we are talkin about can be an exception too.

I'm going to be frank though I believe within the next few years something big will happen. What, exactly, I do not know. But whether white people take their place back is uncertain. Whether WW3, racial uprising, armageddon, or a collapse of powers and world economy something I think will happen in the next 4 years or so. And it will happen at nighttime.Edited by: StarWars

. I still believe though that something will happen in the next few years that is very crucial.

Spencer ran 46.47 to win the Arizona State Meet at 400m.
He also ran a 21.23 for 2nd place in the 200m, and 10.73 in the 100m.
I'm hoping for him to follow in Jordan Boase's footsteps in the Pac 10 next year.

He has a future decathlete written all over him. His 400 time though is impressive on it's own too...

Chase Spencer's win at the state championships broke the 32 Year Old Arizona 400 Meter Record and was the #4 high school time in the US.

that's awesome news. it's too bad he is not heading to Baylor or any other school more suitable for sprinters. let's hope he pursues track more than his studies for a normal career. let's take bets now, who thinks this kid will suffer from the caste system and will be bumped up to the 800m?

Brett Blanshan (see original post) finally back on track - wins the Washington State meet in 10.60. He set a state meet record in the process.

"Anybody roaming the infield Saturday now knows the ABC's of Selah sprinting.

Members of the Vikings' 400 relay, including Blanshan, donned homemade T-shirts that read, "Amazin' Blazin' Caucasian."Â￾

The Washington State-bound Blanshan won the 100, 200 and anchored a come-from-behind showing in the relay.

"It was Colin (Anyan's) idea, and right when he mentioned it, I was like, ‘Yeah, let's make those shirts now,' "Â￾ Blanshan said. "We did it "¦ as a team at my house, in the basement."Â￾

I hope Blanshan improves. In Massachusetts Christopher McConnell ran a 10.98 into a headwind at the D1 meet. I know this because I also raced into this headwind. That time does not sound that good, I know, but he ran a 6.34 in the 55 meter, barely missing the finals of the National meet as a junior in the 60. He was the first to not make the finals. I think he ran a 6.91 or something around there. As you can see, his times get worse as the racee gets longer. Maybe he should try to go pro indoors and see if he can set a WR in the 50 meter. I expect him to win the state meet. I think we will have another white kid in Massachusetts run under 22 seconds in the deuce. The amazing thing about track here is that pretty much 100% of the black people in Massachusetts are interested in it, while for whites only like 10% even care, if that. Asians seem to care about it more than whites too, here. Still, we have amazing athletes. We need more Wariners.

In the same state finals that Colin won the 100 meter. Josh Zinzer a senior at West Aurora won the 200 in 22.06 giving the white boys the sweep in the sprints. Josh was also an allstate wrestler.

State champ sprinter + all-state wrester. That's a pretty tough combo, different body parts/muscles needing emphasis, and all while trying to keep the weight within a certain limit.
