MLB 2025 Season

Paul Skenes with another great outing, 5 innings, 0 runs, 10 Ks. He was pulled after 5 innings and only 78 pitches, with the score tied 0-0. The Pirates’ reliever gave up the game winning HR the next inning.

The Pirates have no interest in winning games. It seems they’re keeping Skenes in bubble wrap to maintain his trade value. They don’t have to pay him for a couple years. But I expect he will be traded sooner than later.

Bobby Witt, the best White player in Baseball, had 2 more hits last night, including a two-run homer. He has at least one hit in 11 straight games. He is 19-for-46 for a .416 average and playing gold-glove defense.

2 home runs from Trout last night, up to 16.

I'm hoping the move to the Designated Hitter pays off for his health. The guy deserves so much praise for coming back from countless major injuries. Many other players would have retired. I'm thankful to still get to watch him play. He should and could have been the best baseball player of all time. He will still be in the top 5 to 10 players by the time his career finishes. Hoping he can play another 5 or 6 years!

It would be nice to see Trout reach 30 this season!

Brewers flame thrower Misiorowski fanned 12 batters against Dodgers a night ago. Phenom in the making!

NL WAR leader Pete Crow-Armstrong (PCA) with 2 HRs today to make it 25 on the season. He is only 23 and already a legit star.

Cal Raleigh hits his 37th and 38th home run tonight. He is now on pace for about 65!

I want 74. Yes I'm greedy and I don't care. I hate seeing Juiced Barry Bonds hold the all time record.

Mark McGuire is still 2nd all time home runs in a season. He had 70 in 1998 and 65 in 1999. It makes me sad that he retired at 37 years
of age as he could have easily still went way over 600 home runs for his career. Wish he played a little longer. He hit 29 in his final season.

McGuire was juiced too though. Would prefer to see someone hold the record on natural talent. Maybe Cal can do it!

What’s impressive is that he doesn’t have a lot of protection around him and, as mentioned, probably isn’t juiced. Roger Maris had Mickey Mantle behind him!

Trout hit another tonight against the Dbacks. The game is still going so maybe it's goes deep one more time. I would like to see him hit at
minimum 30 home runs this year. He is sitting at 17 homers and 36 rbi's currently.

For those into trivia, the Pirates yesterday fell to .500 all time with 10,877 wins and 10,877 losses. That's 21,754 baseball games since 1887. The last 30 years have been almost non-stop pure crap for the team and its fans under the pathetic ownership of Bob Nutting, the worst owner in baseball and maybe all of professional sports, and the fall to .500 is the first time it's happened since 1903. They'll now stay under .500 as long as Nutting owns the team and he's shown no signs of wanting to sell. And why would he as owning a pro sports team is a golden ticket to becoming a billionaire.
