Just a question. Which white RBs do you guys think should be in Lemming's top 30 2009 H.S prospects that were left off? He currently has moved up Brandon Wegher to the #11 RB and Mike Trumpy is in the top 30 as well toward the bottom. This is also interesting b/c Rivals always seems to have about 25-35 RBs in their top 250 list most years; this year it's 33 I believe.

Rex Burkhead and Michael Campanaro (who I see as a CB or WR) are in Lemming's top 30 Athletes. I thought McGuffie was the top RB last year overall; this year from what I've seen Brandon Wegher is #2 so far out of all the Rivals top prospects I've seen. Gaffney is in my top 5 so far and Burkhead and Trumpy are in my top 10; and I have seen almost all the top black prospects footage in Lemming's top list and black Rivals 250 prospects.

Here's the guys I think should play tailback in the FBS that should be on Lemming's and the Rival's list: I know I am missing some b/c I haven't watched enough highlights yet: Of Course Brandon Wegher and Mike Trumpy, Rex Burkhead and Tyler Gaffney have got to be on the list; there's no way they're not on it. Also Beau Blankenship, Ryan Swope and Ben Bowen would make my list; "Little" Ben is very underrated. Also Hunter Furr would probably be on my list and maybe even Anthony Urbania and Shad Bride; I've heard good things about Ryan Zirbel and J.D Marsh, but haven't seen footage. I know I am missing some white backs b/c this top 30 list should probably have 15 or so; probably even more, white kids on it.

So who are the other white RBs who should be in the Rivals 250 or Lemming's top 30 RB rankings? I would like help with this so I can try to dig up highlights of other top guys to watch. I know of some other white prospects names from our forum; but who is most worth it to watch?

Edited to add: Wow just saw Cody Matthewson highlights for the first time, he's Iowa's second best RB prospect after Wegher and looked quite impressive. His highlights even looked better than Bride and Urbania's!

Also of note: Joshua Wright is a highly touted RB prospect by Max Emfinger, but I have yet to find footage of him. Bryan Head from Texas looked good on film in the runs shown on Youtube; but his production wasn't too impressive; so he definitely wouldn't make my top 30. Any help guys would be appreciated. This could be a fun thread to get different perspectives of who the top guys are.

I also thought John Howell's highlight tape was insanely good (kind of like Ben Bowen's), but he is small and thin (not saying he can't be a star in FBS ball, but just that his size isn't an asset) and I don't know about his production.

I think that Bo Snelson should be getting some consideration. He was only the most productive rusher in SE Texas for the last two years, despite being moved to QB halfway through his senior year.

Christine Michael (black RB) is a 5 star recruit from Beaumont, just down the road from Snelson's hometown Pasadena. Michael's numbers over his last two years, 2583 yds and 53 TDs. Snelson's numbers over the last two years, 4067 yds and 55 TDs. This was against the same level of competition and the same region of the state.Edited by: SteveB
