You beat me to this I am usually lazy on posting Latino fighters as most are Mestizo, Black or Mulatto but he is a White Argentine puncher who just off of his power is a gem prospect. He is with Hearn so he can get the bouts necessary to make it to an eliminator without jumping through a million hoops.

Also this weekend on Triller Andrii Novytskyi beat probably the best opponent of his career in Alexander Flores and did it in style. Flores is a long way off from a fringe contender but he isn't truly a tomato can either.

Bryce Mills won a prospect cross roads bout against a PR opponent where he dominated his opponent from the opening bell and eventually dropped and stopped him at the conclusion of the third round. Mills will probably need to jump to a big time promoter when his contract expires as he will have problems securing big bouts having upstate New York has his home base,

Finally last night I saw the funniest scene ever where Eddie Hearn cheered on his now "friend and client" Big Idiot Miller who battered and out worked the older Pero brother in a WBA eliminator. Hearn who claimed he would never work with the obnoxious devious drug cheat is now promoting him and suggested off this win Miller deserved a crossroads bout against the badly faded Wilder. On the surface this bout would probably be something similar to Wilder vs Chisora but Wilder has the shrewd Finkle in his corner and Finkel is going sell the carcass of Wilder to the highest bidder and that won't be a bout with Miller.

This weekend boxing includes a couple of interesting matchups. Naoya Inoue vs Junto Nakatani for Inoue's belts, also Gilbert Ramirez vs David Benavidez for Ramirez's cruiserweight titles.

Thanks for posting this Charles Martel. I had seen this and wanted to watch it again but couldn't remember the names. I haven't paid as much attention to boxing as I used to but I will keep track of this guy. He looks to be the goods so far. Can't wait to see when he moves up.

Yes not a busy a weekend but it's an eventful one with the two cards. The Japanese civil war is the premiere card and the winner will be a candidate for the top position on the pound for pound list.

The Vegas card is promoted as a Mexican civil war but the style of Ramirez isn't to go to war but to box from the outside. Benavidez if he is to win will have to make the long Mexican national to fight on the inside, the American is the betting favorite off of his form and perceived power advantage.

Also in the biggest news of the week Fury vs Joshua is signed for a fall fight and Joshua will have an interim fight in late July and Fury may have one too in a similar time frame.

Note the Japanese fight will be on during the middle of the night on DAZN with main event starting after 7am EST on Saturday.
