Deadlift
Hall of Famer
I've felt for a few years now, that they just love getting "minorities" and thrusting them onto the fanbase, a fanbase that probably won't be rejecting this agenda anyhow.
Delmon Young is a good example of them giving a struggling Afro-Amero ballplayer an opportunity. He had some success last season, but has been atrocious this season so far.
I'm glad that Francisco Liriano continues to struggle, as the "fans" just love this "cuddly bear." It's sickening. Of course, they picked up a Japanese player, Nishioka, but he got injured when a player was sliding into 2nd base, kind of a freak thing.
In recent years, Minnesota has used several high draft-picks on blacks. In the past, they have had Kirby Puckett, Dave Winfield, Torii Hunter, Matt Lawton, etc. Not saying that I'm indicting them for having some non-White players' in their history, but I feel that they are looking for opportunities to take it to another level now.
There are players like Michael Cuddyer that likely won't be with Minnesota much longer, and I think we'll be seeing more of this "planned agenda" -- the darkening -- in action. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly take my medicine.
However, with Minnesota tanking this season so far, the time may be near that we see some "shifts" in their racial dynamics.
