Mike Trout

He has had long lulls of very poor play the last few seasons interspersed with times he looks the leagues best player again, frustrating.

I think he should check his eye sight. In baseball vision is everything at the plate! Get lasik and get back to the Trout we know and love!

Trout 9-for his last 30 AB's including HR#14 yesterday and career #418. He also leads the league in runs scored, 45 and walks, 56. His BA is not good, but it's at .241. However, his OBP is over his career high at .412. He has also went over 3500 career total bases.
He has moved into a tie with Gaylord Perry on the career WAR list 46th-at 90.1 Career WAR.
Next up is Philadelphia great Steve Carlton for 45th all time and then on to Wade Boggs/Eddie Plank for 43rd!

Trout becomes the third in AL player in history to be elected as a starter at least 11 times to the All Star Game, joining Cal Ripken Jr. (17) and George Brett (11).
Trout should return to action against Texas on Tuesday and will start in the All Star game, but will not participate in his first home run derby. There was speculation he would, being that the All Star Game is in Philadelphia. Just 40 miles from his hometown of Millville NJ.
Trout has been the All Star MVP twice, 2014 and 2015!
