Trout triples in first AB in the All-Star game! Drove in Derek Jeter.
Congratulations to Mike Trout, All-Star Game MVP!
What a great game by Trout! He made us all proud. I hope he continues to light up everyone in the 2nd half of the season.
He's doesn't seem to be slowing down. Trout is 6 for 16/.375 BA. with 3 doubles and HR he hit today; since the all-star game!
He leads the league in WAR, TB, and OPS% and is in the top 5 in just about every offensive stat.

It'd be nice to see Trout get to .300 BA, 30 HR, 40 DB, 100R, and 100 RBI for the year.
He's leading the league in total bases
8 more home runs until Trout's career #100. It's possible this year.
This needs to be Trout's year for the MVP. No matter how well he plays next year, if the Angels are not playoff contenders (which is likely, given the toughness of the AL West division), they won't want to give it to him.
Trout's a lock for the AL MVP if the Angels make the post season, or even get close. No one else on a good team is putting up good numbers. The only other guy close is Victor Martinez of the Tigers and a DH is never going to win the MVP. There isn't even a pitcher that close except maybe for Hernandez with Seattle and that market isn't going to get him the MVP.
This is actually Trouts worst year by the numbers, low (for him average) and stolen bases but he's generated so much buzz by coming in second for two years that his clear path this year is almost certain.
Trout now with 100 RBIs on the season.
