Last night, Kellerman angered some serious boxing fans by repeatedly comparing Paul Williams to all-time greats.

Max seems to be infatuated with Williams, the way he was with Zab Judah.

I believe part of Kellerman's problem is that he is a repressed homosexual and he despises fit, young white men (highly exemplified if they are boxers) because they rightly consider him a repulsive, weak little degenerate.

Just a theory, but I'll bet that has something to do with it.

Kellerman is by far the worst boxing commentator today. I wish Larry Merchant was a few years younger so we don't have to see that bug eyed fool every Saturday. One guy who's competing with Kellerman for worst caste commentator is Nick Charles over at Showtime. During the Hearns-Clavette fight he kept mentioning just how "athletic" Hearns was and how muscular his body was. It was like listening to him have phone sex

I don't get that at all. Ronald Hearns couldn't carry his pop's jock strap in his prime. Considering his love of tanning and his metrosexual grooming habits Charles may well be sharing adult videos with Marv Albert.....

You know, I hear alot of people say stuff like that all the time. Sometimes I can't tell if they really mean it or are just insulting them, but I really do believe that there is more than a grain of truth in these observation. There is a definite pattern with alot of these guys, not just in the boxing world but in the sports journalism world at large. I absolutely believe it, and am dead serious when I say that I believe that a large percentage of sports journalists who rise to high positions in their profession have a taste for dark meat. Not all the jock sniffers are that way, but like I said, there is a definite pattern with these guys that is too big to ignore. They way they coo over black athletes, and get really creepy and almost sexual at times in their coverage makes me ill. The feeling goes way beyond a dislike of their caste system, and often I just have to turn them off. They make me feel the same as when I see some lecherous old man oogling a teenage girl, or two homos lip locking. Edited by: Bear Backer

I think the powers that be want white males to think Kellerwoman, and Kornholer, and the like are normal, white males. They sure dont want Vitali, and Wlad, and them to be considerd the normal white man.

There is definitely something very gay in the way Kellerman talks about Paul Williams.

He was doing his usual discrediting of Wlad yeaterday. No sooner was the fight stopped, than Kellerman spoiled the moment by saying Rahman is old.

But goy-hating Max never mentioned that Vitali defeated Peter, who is in his late 20s. At 37 Vitali is a year older than Rahman who is 36.

I wonder who in their right mind would put Kellerman in a boxing analyst position. Kellerman can hardly talk without spitting all over the microphone and goes off on wild rants about why the white guy isn't as good as his black opponent. I believe Kellerman is a no-talent hack with a little "sugar" in his tank for the black boys.

That is so typical of Kellerman. Seriously, how did thatirritating, bug eyedcreep land such a high profile job?Never mind, we all know the answer.

JD,what is your opinion of Vitali as opposed to Wlad? Most analysts say Vitali is stronger, more durable, and meaner, which may be true, but I think Wlad is quicker, lighter on his feet, more skillful anda much better boxer.

The two major differnces between Vitali and Wlad are:

Vitali's has an iron jaw. He can take crushing blows to the jaw, where Wlad can not. But that's OK, Wlad has developed head movement, so that he moves his head in the same direction of the punch, sort of what Duran mastered.

The other major difference is that Wlad has a more refined technique, he is more fluid than Vitali when delivering his blows. His movements are faster.

Think of the our great past warriors to get an idea on the diffences. Dempsey think Vitali, Tunney think Wlad.

For sheerhomo excess and creepiness, this description of Tiki Barber by Karl Greenfeld of Sports Illustrated from a couple of years ago still takes the cake:

"In profile, against the orange sun setting into the smog over the industrial badlands of northern New Jersey, Barber's facial structure is so defined that you imagine you know what he will look like in a thousand years, long after the flesh has decomposed and he is only bone. His face is all sharp angles and perfect planes. His broad smile bares gleaming white, evenly arrayed teeth, an extra helping of perfection after the symmetry of his features."

I think Vitali is the tougher man and naturally better fighter. I think his boxing skills are better than Wlad's - he throws all kinds of creative combinations, and I can't remember him ever really losing a round in a fight. Peter hardly landed a punch.

But Wlad has more one-punch KO power. Wlad looked better in the early days, back in 2000 to 2002, but doesn't throw as many deadly combinations as he used to. But ever since the Lewis fight, Vitali has been even better. His fights with Williams, Sanders, Johnson and Peter have been brutally one-sided.Edited by: JD1986

What interests me is the progress Wlad's made. He seems to have developed more power in recent years. His jab is just awesome. I mean, he's always got that long arm sticking in yer face, keeping you off balance, then wham he unleashes it with some mustard and pert near knocksguysout. And he really doesn't have to draw it backvery far at all to generate power.

Offthathe'll throw a very quick double or triple hook. How manyhuge guys are that deft? After he wears you down, he whips a couple lazer right hands. I think for a 250 lber he is very skilled and athletic.

To me, Wlad is like a surgeon doing what needs to be done, carefullly, step by step, with precision. Vitali would rather batter you into submission.

Vitali does throw some weird looking stuff that is highly effective. He has a kind of a hybrid hook-uppercut he launches from the floor that is hard to describe. He is a bit awkward at times, but very strong. I am amazed how low he and his brother hang their left hands. Their reflexes must be damn good. It's great to be able to pull that off.People don't realize how draining it can be to keep em up when the body is fatigued.

Just finished watching the replay of Wlad's KO of Rahman. I don't know, but I distinctly heard both Kellerman and Lennox both say Wlad is the best Heavyweight Champ right now and say complimentry things toward him during the fight. I keep reading these posts where Kellerman is disparging towards Wlad, but I view and listen to the telecasts I don't hear it.

Of course, Kellerman, has to have some reservations about Wlad, as any broadcast professional would, but by and large He views Wlad as the best Heavyweight boxer right now! I have always like him, in that he brings a vast knowledge for his age, as well as enthusaism for the game. I think "maybe" some posters are a bit too critical of him becuase he is a "tribe" memeber. Just my two cents.

I suppose he had to eventually say something positive about Wlad or risk looking like a total fool. He has been less than complimentary to the Klitschko brothers in the past.

Well...duh. Better late than never. Maxi has always had a man crush on Chrys Byrd, they must have had a falling out.

Perhaps, but mostly because he is an anti-white, pro-black, caste whoreshmuck.
