Interesting series of articles about welterweight champion Matt Hughes, one of the best fighters in MMA today, and probably p4p the strongest. It's a good thing he's not in the NFL though, or the man who routinely picks his opponents up and carries them wherever he wants in the octagon would be called "unathletic" by the putrid pundits.

Also a true Mid-Westerner, a fightin' farmer.

"It seems hard to believe one of Mixed Martial Arts' greatest ever champions spends most of his time farming in Hillsboro, Illinois, and has trouble balancing rural activities with his fight career..."

What kind of strength training does this guy do? He was fighting Carlos
Newton who had him in a hold, so Hughes somehow just picked him up
as if he were nothing and slammed him. Wasn't PC of course, since
Newton is black, but it was an awesome display of strength. (Incredible
comeback against Trigg in their second fight, BTW)

Hughes has tremendous natural strength genetically, his twin brother who doesn't train like him is nearly as big and strong as him. So much for the inborn physical superiority of the '******.

Let's hope all the sons of that family marry strong white women and pass the good genes to lots of children.
