Over the 12 games that Mason Plumlee has started for Brooklyn, the Nets have a 10-2 record and have risen from a 26-28 record to 36-31 and is currently number 5 in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.

Although over those 12 games Plumlee's numbers aren't amazing, 8.5/5.6, he has steadily improved with time, getting 6 points and 5 rebounds in the first start to a breakout game Friday night against Boston where he had 18 points/5 rebounds and 3 assists in just 20 minutes! What is amazing is his FG%, he's shooting an incredible 68%, 40-59, that's less than 5 shot attempt per game.

During this period of 12 games Brooklyn has also gotten big wins over Memphis, Miami, and against Phoenix and his older brother Miles where Mason had 14 points, 11 boards, an assist and 2 steals.

It'll be interesting to see if Plumlee continues to start for Brooklyn and if he'll become a bigger factor offensively.

*Brooklyn also gives considerable minutes to Andrei Kirilenko and Mirza Teletovic*

Plumlee is averaging 18 points and over 9 rebounds a game since replacing Brook Lopez for the Brooklyn Nets. Lopez was averaging 16/6.

It'll be interesting to see what happens upon Lopez's return?

UH, OH! That honkey Plumlee showed too much potential as a premiere player in the Association!

After averaging over 18 pts. 10 boards during his last 7 games as a starter, Plumlee only got off 7 shots in 34+ mins. today, however, he made the most of it making 6 of the 7, but was only 2 of 6 from the FT line. Hopefully this won't be a trend. I look for Plumlee to get more involved in Brooklyn's next game.

He did get 12 boards and 3 assists to go with his 14 points.
