Sometimesintelligent people just have to agree to disagree. I don't think you're going to convince Sport Historian of your position, and he's not going to persuade those that disagree with his, so let's all shake hands and leave it at that.

OK, fair enough. I'd just like to see more of a debate on some of these issues. No need for it to be acrimonious. And I admit that I often get carried away and use unfriendly language myself. Sorry 'bout that. It's nothing personal. I just get carried away.

I'm sure it's nothing personal from any of the posters involved, who are all solid members here. Discussion is fine, including on this issue,andwe have a lot of smart folks here with strong opinions. But this one had gone downhill with nothing to gain from the way it was going.
