BB, either Forrest's ego &/or coaches told him to stand with Silva (& not try for a shot), or he did take a dive. As you alluded to, Griffin doesn't have heavy-hands & has been KO/TKO'd a couple times in the last few years (Jardine & Jackson). Griffin may have still lost the fight, but he could have prolonged it by working the take-down & making it a BJJ/GnP match. I agree...he pulls that stunt again, Dana needs to show him the door (irregardless of the "fan favorite" he is/was).

There was lots of pressure on Griffin to make it an exciting fight. He was put on the spot cause neither Cote nor Thales Leites wanted anything to do with Anderson, and the UFC put him in there to do just that - make a fight of it. To top it off, he and Bonnar will never, ever be able to live down the legacy that is their fight in the Finales of TUF 1. He actually has more wins by submission than either T/KO or decision but you'd never know it the way he fights these days. I think the guy feels he HAS to put on the show - and there was no way he was gonna put on a show with Anderson, nobody does. He could have tried to take him down for GnP or sub but I think Forrest fears the boos more than anything else. Edited by: White Shogun

No way Forrest takes a dive, not in his character to do such a thing. He just fought a stupid fight as Shogun posted above and he will find his way back to title contender status. I think Forrest beat Tito the first time despite what the judges scored and I think he will beat him this time around. Tito will be the one running out of the cage and straight into the arms of his porn star slutty girlfriend Jenna Jameson.
