Former Dallas Cowboy All-Pro linebacker and Super Bowl Champion Lee Roy Jordan has passed at age 84.
Jordan was born in Excel, Alabama and played college football at The University of Alabama and was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 1963 NFL draft. He won a national championship in 1963 and was a Super Bowl Champion with the Cowboys in Super Bowl VI.
He was a unanimous All-American in 1962 and first team All-SEC. He is a member of the College Football HOF.
In the NFL he was second team All-Pro twice and a 5 X Pro Bowler He was inducted into The Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. He had 32 career interceptions and scored 3 TD's. Not sure why he isn't in the NFL HOF?
