He's already passed Matt Shirvington in terms of accomplishments and it looks like he has no fear of world level competition. Which might have been the reason why Shirvington never made the 100m breakthrough he was projected to do when he first burst on to the scene in the 100m final at the Commonwealth games in Kuala Lumpur.

Does Shirvington have a world individual level medal?
I think he has two bronze relay medals and a 4th place finish in the 60m dash.
PS I was thinking this over and Shirvington does have a better resume to this point as he had multiple world level appearances and made two indoor finals.

Shirvington had the race of his life when at 19 he finished 4th to Boldon, Fredericks and Obadele Thompson and he showed absolutely no fear then. Expectation, his own and public, murdered him. I watched him banging his head on the track in frustration at the Sydney Olympics when he felt he'd let the country down. That was the start of his desperate years I think. Sure, he did have TWO 4ths in world indoors (Maebashi and Lisbon) so his pedigree was built up from 1998 to perhaps 2001 ... and then expectations started sinking.
He started really fighting with his own running as he tried to break 10 seconds every time he ran. He became so rough after the first 60/70. Patrick Johnston often ran smoothly past him in the latter stages of a race even though he could never have Shirvo's start.
I'll give Kennedy time to prove his consistency and "stickability" in the sport

so his 10.03 was fake too LOL according to that drip Erin Brown. In a big city, Perth with a 1.1mps - I wonder how they cheated to show that time.
And every Erin I've known is a girl.

I think he can go sub 10 quite soon just has to not over pressure himself to do it.

Yes he is. In the article I posted a few messages up he talks about possibly going sub 10 either this weekend or at the Australian
Championships in about 2 1/2 weeks from now. I prefer he does it this weekend. The sooner the better and it will show the other
young Aussie Sprinters that it is possible.
