Fine season for this 26 year old white man in the Cubs rotation. Led the majors with a 2.13 ERA. Also went 16-8, 0.979 WHIP, and an excellent 8.1 K/9IP. Possible cy young?

From what I hear, he is a Greg Maddux type pitcher who uses movement and location to get people out instead of blowing people away with a fastball. This is a kid worth watching.

He has really boost his game up. This year far more consistent than previous years. Last year he would pitch a great game and then get rocked the next. Surprisingly he and lester have been the aces on the cubs staff this year. Arietta has been too inconsistent this yr. Hopefully he reverts back to his Cy Young dominance in the postseason.
