While it should be a great fight,what will it accomplish?It is so frustating at how hard it is to get the current belt holders of fight each other.I would much rather see Wlad attain all of the heavyweight belts.That is the only way he will be looked at with the respect that they gave L.Lewis.I know there are so many politics involved but hopefully next year it will happen.

Wow if this fight is true, it looks better than it is. Briggs has fought nobody in his comeback. Unless he catches Wlad early he will get beaten to a pulp and ko'd around the 4th round. It should look similar Lewis-Briggs with less sucess for Briggs........

Yeah from what I have read online, Briggs like alot street donkey boxers is near broke(eventhough because of marketing he has made a few million). When he was calling for Wlad it's out of desperation to pay the bills. Similar to Mercer calling for Wlad in 02' and getting dusted in a few rounds...

I would much rather he fight a top tier fighter, but at least it's a big guy. Beating guys like Byrd or Toney means nothing. He needs to show that he has a good enough chin to go toe to toe with anyone. Edited by: JD074
