Anybody catch the altercation between these two during the Philly - Dallas game?

Drew hit KJ with a pass on the corner, KJ got hit, fumbled, INT and ran back for a TD by Sheppard. On the sidelines, Drew went to KJ, and you could see KJ go off. I read "F*** YOU!", but I could be wrong. I think Drew was surprised by KJ's reaction, but he didn't back down. He leaned back in and was nose to nose with KJ before they were split up by assistant coaches.

And Drew is having a monster game today! Geez! The announcers have speculated that either Drew said something that pissed off KJ, or KJ was upset that Drew led him out into the flat to get hit.

Whats your take?

Keyshawn had two steps to tuck the ball and absorb the blow - plenty of time. He's doing what Keyshawn always does which is to blame someone else for his own mistakes. Drew should just stop throwing the ball to him if he is going to whine. Ed McCaffrey ever whine about contact? Any white WR ever whine?

The talking heads have immediately launched a full out campaign to defend this untalented thug. I've heard that Drew "must have said something" and "Keyshawn is just a competitor" and blah blah blah the black guy did nothing wrong. This year the on field behavior in the NFL has reached an all time low.

Absolutely correct. I saw the play, Drew threw a nice pass but the big mouth geek never secured the ball and was hit after a few steps. He was totally at fault. What a weasel , loser, punk. Can you guess he's not my favorite player.

The media made a big deal out of Brett Favre lecturing Robert Ferguson after he turned what should have been a reception into an interception on an important play when Green Bay played Carolina a week ago on Monday night. Favre wasn't that hard at all on Ferguson, a first round draft pick who has been a big-time bust. When Bill Schroeder had "alligator arms" on a pass about six years ago Favre ran up to him on the field and yelled at him all the way back to the sideline. That altercation between quarterback and wide receiver wasn't mentioned at all by the media, not only because both were white but because it was Schroeder being humiliated.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Anytime a black athlete misbehaves on the sidelines, it's "he's just a competitor," "intense," "really wants to win." A Sportscenter talking head said "just a competitor" when it was Warren Sapp chewing out his coach last season.Edited by: JD074

I heard on ESPN that what Drew Bledsoe said on the sidelines to Leon, oops I mean Keyshawn Johnson (I always got a good chuckle out of theose Leon commercials) was "Hold onto the ball".

I think it is kind of humorous for a QB to tell a WR that, but also for Johnson to go off like that is uncalled for. Will we ever hear an apology?... nah!

My, my, looks like KJ is still having a hard time holding onto the damn ball again today.

Ok, ok, KJ gets some props today. He just made a one hand grab off a deflection as he was falling onto his back. It was a nice catch. Got to give it when its due. Edited by: White Shogun

Typical reaction to KJ today. After makinga stink last week, he gets a ton of passes thrown his way today.
