Hall of Famer
I've posted about him before in the H.S RBs thread. Scout.com has his top position as FB despite giving glowing praise to his all round athleticism. He runs a 4.5 40 yard, but because he is big and "white" he will not likely be allowed to make the switch to tailback. This is ridiculous, By my research, 4.5 is faster than probably more than half of your starting NFL tailbacks.
He must have "extremely lose hips" also or Scout.com would surely have taken their chance to slot him in with some caste language garbage. He apparently can change direction like a 170 lb. scat back and has breakaway speed and great instincts but somehow can't be tried at running back for any Div. 1 schools.
However, I just checked his Rivals profile and they have him listed as a three star under "athlete" and he has given a verbal commitment to LSU. So here's to Kellen becoming the next Jacob Hester, with hopefully even more chances than Hester to be a featured runner. It looks like Theriot is even more athletic then Hester.

Theriot is athletic and boy can he run. He has great speed for a 225 pounder. Theriot shows good quickness, excellent agility and footwork and he can change direction like a 170 pound scat back. You just don't see to many prospects his size move the way he does. He has power too. Theriot has breakaway speed and is a big play guy.
Biography:
junior season he threw for over 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns, and rushed for another 750 and 8 scores.
Theriot, 6-2 and 225 pounds, plays quarterback and tight end in high school. He could project at a number of different positions at the next level like fullback, tight end and linebacker.
