Brookinggets a bit of lovefrom the Caste media. If he can play a few more seasons at a high level, he could be a Hall of Famer but for some inexplicable reason he's never gotten the hype of "greats" like Joey Porter and LaVar Arrington.

I know the man's been to what 5 Pro Bowls but he hardly gets any of the attention he deserves. I think you're right though Don if he plays a few more seasons at a high level he should make it in to the hall!

He won't make the Hall. He is much better at OLB than MLB. MLB he is average, OLB he is great.

He is still looking quite athletic. Brooking, Wire, Finneran and Matt Ryan are playoff bound!

Like yours truly, ol' Brooking was Georgia born & bred. He's played his whole career in GA. He was a powerhouse at GA Tech (running a 4.6 40 y/d at 245 lbs). He started 34 straight games to end his college career as he led the team in tackles during his final three seasons at Georgia Tech and became the leading tackler in school history with 467 career stops, he had two of the top tackle seasons in Georgia Tech history with 147 and 146, respectively, as a junior and sophomore. Brooking have 131 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, three passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one blocked field goal to lead Tech to a Bowl game as a senior. Voted a permanent team captain by his teammates and a finalist for the Dick Butkus Award. He was the top tackler in the ACC in 1995 after averaging 13.3 stops a game and ranked second in the conference in 1996 with 13.4 tackles a game. Finished his collegiate career with 15 tackles and one interception to help the Yellow Jackets defeat West Virginia in the Carquest Bowl. Brooking was named to the prestigious Georgia Tech Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.

5x Pro Bowler & 2x All-Pro in the NFL. He's becoming a Falcons legend!

It's nice to seeBrooking still going strong, and doing it on a team that has often had a coal black defense over the past 20 years. He may yet make it to Canton. I could use him on a few of my fantasy football teams right now.

Yes I was very happy to waiver Keith in the Lambert League. He has helped make my team respectable and sorry Don, he is not on the trading block.
