Karsten Warholm World Record Holder 400 Meter Hurdles

all the participants looked leg weary. here’s the race:

I can't think of an Olympic track and field performance better than what Warholm did in Tokyo, Beamon's jump, Young's old world record and Johnson's 24 hour victory in the 100m final are in this range but Warholm took the 400m hurdles record to where no man has gone before...

Note you may need a VPN to watch this Canadian call of the historic race.

White is right, Your video/link doesn't take me to any link on YT. It's just a yt home page. Maybe it's just on my end. Can you try again? I'm in U.S. and I'd like to see this. Thanks!

I think they blocked you because you're from America as NBC has the rights to the race. I noticed the Olympic channel still hasn't put the full race up, only highlights of the end of the race. With a VPN you can watch the Canadian feed.

Ok, thanks mate.

Here is the Mens 4oo Meters Finals at the Tokyo Olympics where Karsten Warholm set the world record in quite possibly the greatest performance ever!

That was fantastic!

the Viking getting some speed work in over the flat 400m indoors, and casually sets a meet record in Lievin.

looking at that picture I noticed 1 japanese track person with their back to the finish, 1 on the sidelines yawning lol From the angle of the photo it looks like many of the fans are not looking his way....strange.

I think they are looking at the clock and/or the scoreboard to see the times . . .

He is now an Olympic Champion, Three Time World Champion & World Record Holder!
Long Live the "Viking Warrior" Karsten Warholm! :number_one:

I think you missed one it's 3 time world champion...

No doubt that at least Warholm and Ingebrigtsen are inspiring young Norwegian athletes.
And perhaps, young athletes all over northern Europe.

Hopefully, Femke Bol is also having the same effect on a lot of young European female athletes.

I remember when Warholm lost his Olympic title a poster had a thank you tribute to Warholm, well last night he lost his world record in Zurich to Afro-Brazilian Alison Dos Santos who blew away the field and set a new world record at 45.80.

When Warholm set his world record commentators on the international broadcast felt the record could last for a generation similar to the Kevin Young record he broke well it lasted about 5 years.

I'm not going to put dirt on the career of Warholm but it will hard for him to become the king of the event again as Dos Santos is at his peak(26) and Warholm seems slightly past his peak, it will be tough for him to win another major world title if Dos Santos is on his A game at the same major meet.

Takk Karsten!
