journal/newspaper articles-discrimination against Whites?

I am currently taking a night class once a week (cheaper than paying back student loans right now and not in an ideal situation for a little while but thats another story..I could always teach/coach an inner city school and get rid of them but not happening),

Sociology of sports, I have to do a research paper on racial bias and discrimination in sports. I chose the topic, it needed to be some social issue in sports. I need at least one book and a bunch of journal/newspaper articles for it. If anyone knows where to find information for our side that would help a lot. So far its about the "poor blacks". I have found some stuff about how Entine's book was total garbage, even by some pc people. I know I will probably have to use some crap book but figured there has to be some stuff on our side for the other things.

I have attempted to do a paper like this years ago but wound up changing it because of the professor. I have written a few reflection papers before in this class and expressed my beliefs, exactly as I have on this site except mentioned the whole black qb thing years ago but how its no longer the case and she just commented "great paper! next time keep it shorter", but those were just small papers.

This one you have to turn into safeassign, I am worried that it will search the web and pull stuff from this site and say that I am plagiarizing myself haha. I don't see why I couldn't use my own personal observations and research for the majority of the paper but it seems she wants us to cite from "credible" sources.

might help, its a full length paperback, as opposed to an article, but (?), I've seen the book for sale thru both Amazon & Barnes&Noble.. sometimes e-bay too.

Thanks a ton! a book actually helps more and she was probably thinking it would take up most of our research with the articles being a smaller contribution, I just didn't think there were any books out there that really touched on the subject. I know a member, or former member, don't know his status, claimed he would be writing a book years ago but nothing came of it.

I have been thinking about writing a book, no promises though, maybe I will just write some articles.
