Don't throw them out, I sold mine years ago when I moved out of my mother's house and got about 50 bucks for mine. Now I see that Ebay has copies of the magazines that I had for 10 bucks a pop(asking price who knows if they are selling).

I too stopped reading the magazines around 98' or 99', the internet was getting too good and the magazines were too out of date.

I remember around that time the K brothers were just starting to get minor notice out the magazines. Even when Vitali blew out Herbie Hide, the magazines made it seem like it was glass jawed Herbie making Vitali look like George Foreman, rather than Vitali being the vicious puncher that he was was.

I agree! Taylor is more physical than he seems at first glance but Ivan B is borderline beast! Taylor’s speed and defense will be most important. The longer the fight the more I like Taylor but there’s no chance I’d bet on this fight either way. It’s gonna be a great fight!

Lack of exposure of most white fighters in popular culture is why people still think combat sports (though only ever true for boxing, really) are black/brown-dominated, and what causes blacks and nonwhites to delude themselves into thinking that is the case.

Agreed. I remember 10yrs ago I was telling everyone I could how great the Klitschkos and GGG would be once they fought over here! Sure enough CF Boxing team was all over that prediction!

Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez is reportedly now in the works and being planned for May/June in the UK. No deal yet, but it appears Taylor is ready to move on from the Jack Catterall rematch for the time being.
