Koren Robinson reportedly was arrested on a DUI charge in May. Will Mike Holmgren, who has zero tolerance for white players' mistakes, finally give up on his "son" Koren? This could work out very well for Joe.

Holmgren's attitude toward Robinson is just another example of the paternalism I talked about in another thread. They leave the whites to fend for themselves, while they practically adopt these black guys and think they can do no wrong.

In other white receiver news, Johnnie Morton was cut by the Chiefs. If Marc Boerigter successfully rehabilitates his blown out knee he has a good chance of being a frequent target of Trent Green's passes in '05. The number one wideout on Kansas City's current depth chart is Eddie Kennison, followed by Dante Hall. Just about everyone realizes that the 5'5" Hall is a kick returner not a wide receiver. That leaves Boerigter to battle it out with Sammie Parker, 4th round draft choice Craphonso Thorpe, and another white receiver, Chris Horn. NFL Europe star John Booth is also on the roster. Lets hope Boerigter is healthy because he's in a really good spot now if Vermeil will give him the opportunity.

When Boerigter is healthy,he is a star. His yards per
catch average is up there with most receivers.Basically,
you have a D.Bennett type who just needs to keep his
body together and he will be special. He has had some
bad luck similar to Lyman. This is probably his last
chance to become a 1st or 2nd receiver with the Chiefs
as their patience is running out.Good luck to him.

And now Isaac Bruce may have a heart problem, which of course would work in Kevin Curtis' favor:

Its a conspiracy! Is there nothing to which white men will not stoop to
see a white man start as WR?? First Koren's arrest on drunken
driving and now this fake heart arrythmia! What will the white devil
think of next! To what low will he not stoop!

It's hard to have any faith in Vermeil. He's already treated Boerigter poorly. He dabbles in white receivers and white safeties but doesn't believe in letting them shine. However, '04 fourth round draft choice DE Jared Allen was a sack specialist right off the bat as a rookie. He has star written all over him. Maybe, just maybe, Dickie will insert Boerigter as a starting receiver this coming season, which he should have been all along.

The Chiefs signed Az-Zahir Hakim today, one of those underachieving black receivers who is always accorded lots of respect because he's fast. This makes it a little more difficult for Boerigter and Horn. You can bet that everyone, from the coaching staff to the media pundits to the fans, will instantly drop Boerigter behind Hakim on the depth chart. Totally unproven Sami Parker had already been promoted over Boerigter, but Boerigter could still end up as the number two receiver if he is healthy simply because he has much more talent than the others.

In typical Caste System style, Joe Jurevicius has gone from the likely second receiver on Seattleto one of a "handful" of receivers battling for the third and fourth spots who "can't afford to drop a pass" if he wants to make the team, according to Mike Holmgren.

Bobby Engram, a ten-year backup possession receiver, is now the other starter along with Darrell "Hands of Stone" Jackson. One can safely assume that Jerome Pathon, like Engram another long-time backup, is also ahead of Jurevicius. Jerheme Urban, as always, is battling not to be cut rather than being groomed as a starter. Holmgren can't help but be true to form. Jessie Lumsden should have signed with any of the other teams that were interested in him.

Here's the latest on the Seahawks receivers from a black writer at SI.com:

"After being plagued by dropped passes throughout most of last season, the Seahawks feel like they've put those problems behind them. They've dumped one of the chief culprits from 2004 (Koren Robinson) and they've been excited by the steady efforts of this year's starters (Darrell Jackson and Bobby Engram) during training camp. In fact, head coach Mike Holmgren says his only concern with his receivers is who develops at the third- and fourth-receiver spots. He says there are a handful of players fighting for those positions and none of them can afford to drop passes."

Like the Kanas City situation, where a great talent like Boerigter is
denied the opportunity to play over run-of-the-mill black WRs who are
all smaller and slower than him, both Jurevicious and Urban are being
denied the chance to play over truly mediocre blacks like Engram and
Pathon. Darrell Jackson, if he were white, would be the laughingstock
of ESPN and co, with his countless dropped passes over the years. If
there was truly equal opportunity for all in the NFL, both KC and
Seattle would probably have two white starting WRs.

I'm watching the Cowboys-Seahawks game, and neither Jurevicious or
Urban has made an appearance in the game yet. Judging by the way
Holmgren is rotating his WRs so far, it appears that these two
unfortunate white players are now the 5th and 6th men on the depth
chart. Some unknown black named Hackett caught Seattle's first TD, and
Madden can't stop raving about Engram. This is pure madness. How stupid
can white fans be? How blatant does the discrimination against white
players have to get before the sheeple notice? But then again, even if
they noticed, how many would care? I swear I sometimes think it has
gotten so bad that these white jock-sniffers announcing the games could
just say something like, "when are they gonna get rid of these pathetic
white boys in the NFL" and almost all the of white yahooies would raise
their beer cans and say, "Right on!"

I never saw Jurevicius, but I did see Urban make three catches then drop a touchdown pass. Madden quickly pointed out how that did not bode well for him making the team. They showed the replay twice and the ball was clearly tipped by a defender right before it hit Urban's hands - an almost impossible ball to catch yet the announcers said nothing of the tip. Some Seattle reciever (Willis?) dropped an easy pass earlier and nothing was said of cutting him.

The cowboys also had a guy that has been athletic enough to be a standout on special teams. The only problem is they don't know what position he could possibly play besides special teams. You see he is a white WR and that is not tolerated in Dallas. Madden and the announcers were also perplexed on what position this guy should be listed at so that he could be on just special teams - ala Bill Bates.

Both Urban and Jurevicius were featured prominately in the game. They were not on the field for the first drive, but caught numerous passes through out the contest. I thought the safety where the quarterback stepped on the back line was the funniest thing I have seen in a while.

J. Urban:3 REC, 26 YDS, AVG 8.7 YDS, TD 0, LG 12 YDS
J. Jurevicius: 2 REC, 16 YDS, AVG 8.0 YDS, TD 0, LG 11 YDS

Urban was 4th out of 11 WR in the game, Jurevicius 7th, in total yards. Yes, there were WR who caught passes for less than 11 yards.

The great BOBBY ENGRAM had 3 REC, 56 YDS, AVG 18.7, 0 TD, LNG 24 YDS. Hard to believe the guy who dropped the game winning TD win the playoffs last year will be the Seahawks No. 1 WR, isn't it?

I'm not sure if 5 total receptions means they were 'prominently featured' in the game though.

OK maybe they wern't the showcase highlight, but I made a point to look for them last night, and a lot of crappy passes were thrown their way also.

Darrell "Hands of Stone" Jackson is entrenched as the Seahawks #1 receiver, but it is difficult to believe that Pathon and Engram are even in the mix for #2. Pathon is a pure journeyman, and Engram is aserviceable butaging#3 possession receiver.

Judging by how Holmgren used his receivers last night, Urban looks to be toast, since the slew-footed Alex Bannister will remain on the team as a rare black Special Teams Demon. If he keeps any other of the gaggle of black wideouts currently on the roster, Urban gets waived or stuck on the practice squad again. Jurevicius has a chance to be #2 as the season progresses, simply because he is such a tall target and more talented than Engram and Pathon.

Ofcourse Lumsden never smelled the field last night.

Holmgren is disgusting. I have more respect for the coaches who ban whites altogether than the ones who jerk them around and around and around. . .

I read on a fantasy site (I think it was Fanball) that when Jurevicious
was signed, he was thought to be a strong candidate to be the #2 WR.
However, now it is claimed that he may be "on the bubble" to make the
roster. Uh, what did he do?

Nice to see Joe have a good game today. He is as solid as they come.No matter what team he plays for,he succeeds.Jurevicious had 3 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown today. The Seahawks need to get him the ball more. Why is he so low on the depth chart? To think that they almost cut this guy.
