Jeremy Shockey: LeBron James no NFL player

We see this every so often-the black that is great at one sport and is supposedly capable of easily playing nearly any sport he so chooses, especially if it is one in which many white men perform at the highest level.

How about Bo Jackson and the insulting commercial where he wants to ride the Tour de France?

Didn't Deion Sanders do the same thing with a commercial about soccer?

This thread is also another example why I hate the NBA and never watch a game.
 
Steve Nash is one guy in the NBA who could have made it in another sport. He's a very good soccer player and I think he would have made a very creative midfielder. For the record, I can't stand Lebron James but he is clearly the kind of athlete that would have made a good tight end or pass rushing DE in the NFL if he had chosen that route.
