We should have done this a long time ago.This woman is a superstar in athletics and she couldn't have picked a better school to go to. Yes Oregon has always been more of a distance runners destination but they have become one of the best track and field schools in the nation. They also were just awarded the 2021 World Track & Field Championships.

Back to Jen Prandini. She has always been one of the best in the nation in 3 different events. The 100, 200 and long jump. She can also run the 4 x 100 relay. The lady is just a phenomonal athlete. Nothing she couldn't do. We are witnessing greatness and at such a young age. Yesterday she ran the 2nd fastest 100 meters time in college history. In the interview after, she was as modest as ever giving credit to her teammates and coach. I love watching this girl. A true role model for young american girls. Keep it up Jen I can't wait to see you represent the USA someday soon in major championships. Here is the video although it's from a very hard angle to watch the race. Enjoy.

she and Dafne should be about ready to give the Jamaicans et al some decent competition. Let's hope the next level of Europeans can step it up now these 22 year olds have

She's also easy on the eyes, especially when she's lined up against the rest of the 100m sprinters. It's really a stark comparison. She has a feminine form and the other "ladies" have massive tree trunk legs, thunder thighs and big ol blubber butts.

bad news....Jen Prandini withdrew from all events at the Pac12
championships.
What a disappointment! Her early season form suggested that she was going to have a really outstanding season. The kind of the season where she would breakthrough to the very top level of sprinters in the world.
I wonder if she is injured, or if there is something else....?

LOL. Nothing sinister. Turns out she was sick. I'm just hoping she didn't peak too early this season.

I see she's comfortably second of the qualifiers after the quarters in Austin this weekend (legal 11.11 win and .20 ahead of second place in her quarter final)

Jenna Prandini won the 100m at the NCAA Championships today!!!
She is the first white woman to win this event at the NCAAs (started in 1982).
Her time was a wind-aided 10.96.

I was absolutely sure she was capable of winning if this was the only event she was running; but she is a workhorse for Oregon at these championships. Earlier in the day she ran on the relay. Later today, she runs the 200m. Plus, she already took 2nd in the Long Jump. Plus the heats in the 100, 200, and relays.
I'm sure she could also win the 200m, if she hadn't run all these other races at the meet.
Still I expect her to finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd. Let's keep our fingers crossed and see.

Way to go Jenna. By far the best US Female Track Athlette. It's really not even close. Love this!

Less than an hour later Jenna took 2nd in the 200m by just a few thousandths of a second.
Her time was 22.21, one of the fastest in collegiate history! .... and the 4th fastest time in the world this year.
She is a super, super talent!!!

The sad thing is that it wouldn't surprise me if Prandini has stronger squat, deadlift, lunge, and other lifting numbers than Lemaitre. Not his fault entirely being coached by a fossil who's been sucking away Lemaitre's talents the past 4 years with worthless training methods.

As for Prandini, I very much look forward to seeing her compete at the world stage in the coming years against the Pharmalitas, Frasers, and other cheats from Jamaica and the U.S, and actually beating them. It's incredible watching an attractive woman who looks like a woman go up against these she-males and winning.

this is very true...what makes Lemaitre unique is he was never technically correct and very weak muscled. Most average sprinters actually have good natural strength levels. I seen a video of Lemaitre doing power cleans with 90 pounds. Its insane. This Carraz is a joke. Had Lemaitre have a elite level club adn coach from the beginning, he would as of now run 9.8 and 19.6, for sure. He should of came to study in the US like a program in Oregon etc.

Don't post here very often. Congratulations Jenna! I was involved with AAU Track and Field when my son ran AAU. He was in the same age group as Hannah Cunliffe. They were the only white 100M finalists one time in the AAU Nationals 12 year-olds. Hannah of course won and my son finished 6th. I wished he would have kept running. I really enjoyed it.

How did Cunliffe do?

Jenna is an amazing athlete, and i don't say that lightly. to put her performance in perspective ...

as an individual, she was able to collect 26 points for her team (nearly half of the 59 total points Oregon earned en route to winning the National Champion team title), a total that would have placed her individually in a tie for 11th in the team competition. and she did this at the National Championships!!! simply amazing!

Just to be clear for the non-tracksters.....Jenna Prandini won the US title in the 200m.
She is the USA National Champion in the 200m!
That's a huge milestone!
I have no idea when the last white female won a national sprint title in the US before Jenna.

We have a white superstar sprinter from the U.S. Who would have imagined that ever in these days? She is so amazing to watch. She can go 22 flat eventually but here 100 intrigues me even more. She went sub 11 twice at the US Trials after a very long college season.

Once she works on her drive phase, she will go sub 10.90 and maybe eventually sub 10.80. Unthinkable times coming from this beauty from the northwest. Congrats Jen Prandini. We are very proud of you.
