There is a video of a 4x100 relay in Australia where a 12 year old kid runs down another kid by at least 18 to 20 meters circulating around the internet. He is Jamie Gallagher and has a personal 100 meter best of 11.72 which according to sources is the 2nd fastest 100 meter race ever run at that age. I saw a good picture of him and he might be slightly Aboriginal but I just wanted to post on this kid who might be the next phenom. With Gemilli, Kiryu from Japan and Simon SHutze from Germany its nice to see so much young talent producing eye popping times.

I'm really curios about this kid after seeing the video. There is a saying in track and field about walking down an opponent. It's almost like they are running in quick sand or stuck in neutral as a sprinter makes up an unbelievable amount of ground to win. I've seen guys like Brady Gehret do it recently in high school. This kid is at such at higher speed than any other kid in this race that is almost looks fake but it's not. So the question is to any Aussies, is he white, aboriginal or both? He sure can run like no kid I've seen in a very long time. Here is the video for those who haven't seen it yet.

Thanks for the video WL. The kid running ahead of him looked back at least 4 times in the last 40 meters. That may have helped. I saw a picture of this kid. He is much whiter than Joshua Ross but he almost has a slight Mestizo look to him. Regardless I will root for him as others who run fast that are not of Western Sub-Saharan race.

I have seen photos of the kid and he may have some aboriginal ancestry but he is essentially White. But it seems in Australia like America being Aboriginal or Black is the mind of the person.
