Seahawker brought Jake Heaps to my attention. and WOW! he's a heck of a young quarterback.
he's just a junior this year.
and as jacknyc mentioned, his favorite target is Gino Simone. Simone, who is a senior, has committed to Washington State. he reminds me so much of Mike Hass.
like Hass, he is about 6-feet tall, has great hands, and he's not credited with having great straight-line speed. furthermore, just like Hass he gets HUGE separation on underneath routes and just blows by defensive backs on deep routes. on the rare occasion when he looks covered, he has the hops and the hands to come down with the ball anyway. AND he just makes people look SILLY running after the catch.
major kudos to both these youngsters who also happen to be best friends!
