LOL! In case you didn't know, Josh Dempsey (6',5) is a MMA fighter/boxer. Have written on this site for years of the two main reasons, and good to see it said honestly instead of the old stream media's usual lies.

1) Parents don't want their kids getting hit in the head.
2) No boxing gyms in white neighborhoods for lack of customers.

Funny to hear the black interviewer say "... We haven't seen a white boxer dominate in a long time..." Ha ha! He must not follow boxing very much. We watch the Eastern Euros completely out-classing and demolishing blacky left, right, and center these days all the time.

Around 1960, Roger Kahn was doing a magazine story on Jack Dempsey. Kahn's editor had a question he wanted Kahn to ask Dempsey: Why are there so few white American heavyweights around? Kahn asked Dempsey what it would take to change the situation. Dempsey answered, "It would take a depression."

This question and answer was left out of the magazine article. The Swedish Ingemar Johannson was heavyweight champion at the time.

I listened to the first part of the video and Dempsey comes across as a low-IQ (or punch drunk) type regurgitating the standard party line. His repeated reference to White "boys" indicates a lack of awareness and pride. I don't expect him to be a poster here any time soon.

Regarding his birth name is Gormley and he claims a lineage to Dempsey but I can't see a direct one unless one of his parents was an illegitimate child of Dempsey's as Dempsey only had one known daughter.

Yes he is slightly slurring and no he didn't sound like this years ago. Here's a video of him fighting a club fighter and after the victory he calls out his wife and sounds like a normal person......

I know. He let the interviewer get away with saying no white boxers have dominated in a long time. He is punch drunk and seems to seek praise from blacks as if blacks are a standard to aspire to. But he speaks some truth. Oh well.

Yes you are right I forgot he had two biological daughters and one adopted daughter.

Generally boxers who keep their money their descendants don't box or try and box professionally. Dempsey while losing much of his fortune in the stock market crash in 29', still had his restaurant and toured the country and earned money as a speaker. Similarly Ray Leonard Jr never boxed.

Meanwhile idiot/punch drunk boxers like Hector Camacho's kids boxed and it looks like Hasim Rahman jr is trying to start a career. It takes extreme hunger to make it in boxing and richer individuals generally don't have the desire for the game.
