If it looks like a white duck then the media will quack that it is a white duck, so we should accept him as a white duck. Put it this way. He would have been able to play in the major leagues pre 1947 but the Korean army would have put him in prison had he tried to join them a few years later.
Well you could be right but it still makes you sound like one of those insecure Black people who would even claim someone who is 1/4 Black + 3/4 White ( if they look black ). Like for example Tiger woods is more Asian than Black yet he is considered " Black ". Back than when I was a kid the white community would never consider anyone 1/4 non-white as white, now I even see some people especially from this forum claiming 1/2 non-white as white ( if they look white ).
I'm 25% Korean + 25% Japanese + 50% Polish. My father is Asian and my mother is white I have blue-greenish eyes, brown hair. I'm also 6ft 4, although my father is 6ft 2, my Korean grandfather was also 6ft 1. So they are tall for Asians. People always though I was white, but when they get to know my father they start calling me a Nip.
Here is another fighter, Only he is Korean on the father side but with a French mother
Denis Kang a 5ft 11 middleweight fighter. His nickname is the " Super Korean " even though he looks 0% Korean. But to be fair there are many pure blood Korean world fighting champions that are way better fighter than this guy, this guy takes pride in being Korean, hate his french side and is nationalistic about Korean heritage.
