I don't think it's common to "switch". Certainly in the olden days people faked it because there was no other option. Now why bother? But it's not unheard of. Probably pretty rare for men but it's very common for women. I'm surprised you aren't aware of the strange phenomenon of late life lesbianism. There have been quite a few Hollywood actresses that have gone from a life of normal relations to men to suddenly taking up with women. There's the one from sex and the city, and one recently who pissed off gay advocates by saying she had always liked men but now was in love with the women she was with (can't think of her name). Anne Heche is the gold standard of lesbo switcheroo going from Ellen Degeneres back to men. Lindsay Lohan is another one time lesbo that switched teams. I guess you could call them bi-sexual but what is that but the option/choice to switch?

Lohan is a mental case degenerate who probably doesn't know what time of the day it is. Her future could be that of various Hollywierd celebrities that die young from narcotics abuse. So I don't think her sexuality is anything beyond her impulses at the moment....:thumbdown:

i fully agree. i came to respect some gay people who act NORMAL in their daily lives and (same way i'm not advertising the fact that i am attracted to women and sleep with them) if you don't know them very well you would never know.

I've always wondered if and hoped that Aaron Rogers has been adhering to the Christian beliefs that his parents raised him in. If he is that means not showing up at every function with a room brightening smile and a new ho on his arm, and no being baby daddy to a half dozen kids with different baby mommas. Remember when Favre went diva drama queen and blew into Green Bay to try to get his job back? All the reporters went running like a pack of little bitches in junior high after Rogers, with their microphones ready to catch something juicy from him. I remember Aaron standing there, basically ambushed and confused by the situation. The way he kept his cool during this media blitz helped win over a lot of his doubters before he ever showed how good he was at dodging a real blitz.

Now was trying to head the rumors off by bringing the topic up himself a tactical error? It may have been because it gave an opening for the enemy to jabber about it. Time will tell.

Ex-Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe has said he is ‘pretty confident’ that he was cut from the team last May for being an out-spoken advocate for same-sex marriage.


Kluwe has also accused Vikings coach Mike Priefer - currently a contender to become the team’s next head coach - of being a bigot who repeatedly used homophobic language in front him and told him he would ‘wind up burning in hell with the gays.’


The player, whose playing stats were above average, believes his problems began in the fall of 2012 when he started to speak out against the Minnesota Gay Marriage Amendment which attempted to have marriage defined as ‘only a union of one man and one woman.’

Along with a group called Minnesotans for Marriage Equality, Kluwe helped have the amendment voted down. Same-sex marriage is now legal in Minnesota, but Kluwe says he lost his career because of his beliefs.


He has written a scathing account of his final months at the Vikings in an article posted to Deadspin entitled I Was An NFL Player Until I Was Fired By Two Cowards And A Bigot.

He savages several of his coaches, but saves his worst criticism for special teams coordinator Mike Priefer, who he claims would use anti-gay slurs around him and unfairly criticize his performance.



‘It’s my belief, based on everything that happened over the course of 2012, that I was fired by Mike Priefer, a bigot who didn’t agree with the cause I was working for, and two cowards, [head coach] Leslie Frazier and [general manager] Rick Spielman, both of whom knew I was a good punter and would remain a good punter for the foreseeable future, as my numbers over my eight-year career had shown, but who lacked the fortitude to disagree with Mike Priefer on a touchy subject matter,’ he writes.

'He said all this in a semi-joking tone, and I responded in kind, as I felt a yelling match with my coach over human rights would greatly diminish my chances of remaining employed.’


Kluwe also claims that Priefer instructed him to start kicking shorter punts with more hangtime because his coverage team was so slow. When Kluwe followed those instructions, Priefer gave him negative scores in his evaluation.


Kluwe, who acknowledged that his revelations would mean he will never get another NFL job, said his motivation was ‘to make sure that Mike Priefer never holds a coaching position again in the NFL, and ideally never coaches at any level.’

The Vikings sacked head coach Frazier at the end of 2012 after they failed to make the play-offs and Priefer has been described as 'the only in-house candidate with a chance' at the head-coaching job by Pioneer Press.


‘It's inexcusable that someone would use his status as a teacher and a role model to proselytize on behalf of his own doctrine of intolerance, and I hope he never gets another opportunity to pass his example along to anyone else,’ wrote Kluwe.


The Vikings have previously denied cutting Kluwe for off-field reasons. Last June, Priefer refused to go into specifics about Kluwe’s release, but said he felt 'very strongly' that the Vikings needed to part ways with the punter.


'It was more consistency and productivity,' Priefer said in a response to a question about what factors, statistical or otherwise, contributed to the decision.


Asked if Kluwe could have improved his production, Priefer said simply, 'I just felt like we needed to make a change there.'

Kluwe did make the point that team owner Zygi Wilf had voiced his support for Kluwe’s public stance.

This is yet another example of how the LGBT community and their sympathizers operate. Their goal is not equality or acceptance, it's complete submission to their agenda. Anything less and you are branded a bigot and hater, and they will destroy you, which is what this Kluwe clown is attempting here.

Going back to Aaron Rodgers, in one DWF forum I lurk, they had a thread about it. They were really hoping the rumors were true because it would be so wonderful to have high profile athlete come out and pave the way for others. They were terribly disappointed when Rodgers denied the whole thing a couple of days ago.

I can agree with you that homosexuals are messed up in the head, but we'll have to agree to disagree with homosexuals having sex with both men and women. Unless they are just lying to me, most homosexuals I've had the displeasure of dealing with have told me they have sex with both men and women at some point in their lives. This tells me they have a choice.

It happens in Hollyweird all the time. Women who were lesbians now married to men and men who are **** marrying women. Like I said in another post. It may not happen as much now, because in our upside down, sick society is more accepting of this behavior. Again, it's all part of a bigger problem. There's no more right or wrong. People are no longer taking responsibility for their actions!

I think the trouble is, he's good, but he's just not good enough for any team to be willing to pay him the veteran minimum that he'd be entitled to, and at his age he's not going to be improving any. Why spend that money on a good punter when you could get another punter who's almost as good and save yourself 4-5 hundred thousand dollars which could turn around and spend on a rookie free agent of a different position?

Recently he published an article with the help of Deadspin saying he was released from the Vikings mostly for his views on same-sex marriage and the fact that one of his coaches disagreed with him on those views. Kluwe joined Nick Wright and John Lopez In The Loop to talk about the entire situation, the backlash from the article and the fact that he still doesn’t have a job despite being a good NFL player.

In 2012 Kluwe spoke out against a bill in Minnesota that was to make it illegal for same sex couples to get married. The punter knew his views weren’t shared by everyone on the Vikings staff, he didn’t know it would get him released from the team.

“I knew it was a possible end, but I figured if I punted well and did what they wanted me to do then I would still be a valuable part of the team and the issue would be over,â€￾ Klwue told In The Loop’s Nick & Lopez Friday morning. “Apparently that wasn’t to be the case.â€￾

Kluwe also thinks that the pro gay equality message is a big issue within the NFL.

“I don’t know if the team would have kept me if the message was different. I think it is really unfortunate that in the NFL it seems like you can do a wide variety of awful things but if you speak out on a social issue then that’s what appears to be the bright line. The ‘hey you can’t cross that’. What does that say about our priorities? We’d rather have felons and racists and abusers then someone speaking out on issues.â€￾

Those thoughts make Kluwe question if he even wants to come back to the National Football League.

“I don’t know if I want to deal with the unreality of the NFL anymore. It really is this bubble of people who think actions have no consequences and they can act however they want.â€￾

If he did want to come back Kluwe isn’t sure if anyone would want him, now.

“I don’t know if there are any owners or head coaches out there that are willing to deal with everything that comes along with (signing me).â€￾

Kluwe isn’t surprised no other players have come to his defense. He points to Kerry Rhodes and his possible homosexuality as a reason the former Cardinals safety can’t find a job.

“This still is the NFL and while progress has been made on these issues, there is still a lot of progress yet to be made. Being blackballed in the NFL is a very real thing. Just ask Kerry Rhodes about that.â€￾

Rhodes hasn’t been signed to an NFL team after this off-season it appears he was ‘outed’ on the internet to be gay. Kluwe believes the perception around the NFL is that he is gay and that is the only reason he is not currently playing.

“I don’t know if it true or not,â€￾ Kluwe said of Rhodes not getting a job this season in the NFL. “I look at numbers. I look at statistics. I look at what people have done. What their actions say. The fact that Kerry Rhodes, who is a safety, who is very successful, and who presumably can still play at a very high level, cause I don’t think he suffered any debilitating accidents between last year and this year; somehow can’t find a job when secondaries are struggling across the entire league. To me that is the numbers. That is the flat out truth and what does that say?â€￾

The coach that Kluwe had the biggest problem with at the Vikings was special teams coach Mike Priefer. In his article on Deadspin Kluwe says during a meeting Priefer made a very violent statement about homosexuals, “We should round up all the gays, send them to an island, and then nuke it until it glows.â€￾

“I knew right away if I said something then it would escalate into a screaming match and that would be it,â€￾ Kluwe told SportsRadio 610 on Friday on why he didn’t say anything to Priefer. “We’d be done.â€￾

Priefer has denied that he ever said what Kluwe is accusing him of, but Kluwe stands by his statement and challenged Priefer to take him to court in a defamation suit to let the facts come out in court if he really believes that. While Kluwe is okay with being sued by Priefer he says he doesn’t want to sue the Vikings, because he doesn’t “have anything against the Minnesota Vikings.â€￾ He enjoyed his time there and would prefer not to sue the team as it would bring more bad light on the organization.

Kluwe’s career is most likely over, at the age of 32, but he doesn’t regret anything.

“No, no I don’t regret it, because to me this was something that was worth the potential risk,â€￾ Kluwe said of his career ending early. “If people think that just because we’re having a conversation on same sex rights that means we’ve succeeded, well then that’s not going to change anything. I believe Kluwe admitted to the coaching staff telling him to kick shorter for more hang time (something about the special teams unit being slow) and he refused to do it because it would hurt his stats. His salary was 1.6 million, I think they have a guy who is at 405K. His last year with the Vikings his punting declined and he had knee problems, they brought several punters in. They drafted a punter and he didn't beat him out. He was cut, let go and he didn't win the job in Oakland.

On an NFL team, the punter is lowest on the totem pole. Unless he is a Ray Guy, the punter is disposable and casually replaced.

The way I see it, Kluwe lost his position on the roster because:

a. he was overpaid and could be replaced by another, cheaper athlete without too much of a quality drop
b. he wasn't even that good, especially to justify his pay
c. he was intransigent with those in charge of the team and wouldn't follow directions as an employee should

Kluwe might have saved his job if he were willing to take less money or learned to stay in his place. He's a kicker, not Rosa Parks.

Anyway I think that now that he lost his job, instead of looking inwardly at himself and seeing what he might have done to deserve getting canned, he decides to project the blame instead because he's a whiny little bitch.

And, since he was such a vociferous queen about gay marriage and blah, blah, blah, he feels that by whining that THIS was the reason for his release, that he can cull all of the fashionable outrage from the "I love Black people except in my lily-White neighborhood" set.

No one's going to want this mincing ****** on a roster because he's now locker room poison, so his career as an NFL player is mostly over. He's obviously gunning for a book deal or to milk this gay marriage angle to his firing for as long as it lasts.

I'm predicting a bunch of queer speeches at rallies and parades, appearances on Ellen or Oprah, maybe a lecture tour on tolerance.

This dude just doesn't know how to separate aspects of his life into appropriate categories.

He's perfectly free to have his gay little beliefs or whatever he wants outside of his job, but when he's working he needs to just kick the ball and keep his damn mouth shut.

Instead, he decided to use his middling level of notoriety as a professional athlete as his sanctimonious soapbox to spew all of his asinine ****** propaganda.

It would be somewhat akin to a lawyer who enjoys deer hunting, suddenly bringing a rifle into the courtroom and wondering why he got disbarred.
