Part of the ESPN boxing night Saturday this up and coming fighter is the REAL DEAL. A wicked first round body shot knocked his opponent down. The guy looked like he got shot.

Not letting up Conlan knocked him down again in the second round. He barely got up but I figured the ref was going to stop it any second before the guy gets killed. And just like that it was over.

A furious puncher with great style he is 6-0 with 5 knockouts. He beat the hell out of a Russian in the Olympics but everyone said he was robbed of the gold medal. I vaguely remember the incident.

Conlan who is pure Irish has been out for blood ever since. His next fight might take place in Belfast. Expect throngs of Irish fans cheering their new hero on.

Remember him as an Olympian! Very skilled fighter. He was on the Horn vs Pac man card last summer, fought a can. Saw him fight more recently and he looked more relaxed and letting his combinations go.

But he's certainly a highly skilled quality boxer. The pricks on esb seem to be writing him off but he's minimum gonna be a world champion trust me.

Ireland have some quality prospects coming up, alongside Conlan there is Aaron Mckenna, Paddy Donovan, Joseph Ward.
