interesting vid - Klitschko and Tyson

Excellent! That's puts it in perspective, doesn't it! These hyped up negro "super-heroes" of the past, like Cassius Clay alias Muhamed Ali, and Tyson here, they'd look like little kids in the ring with the amazing Doctor Klitschkos. Clay couldn't even beat guys who weighed in the 180's, like Doug Jones, and Alonzo freakin Johnson for petes sake!

Notice the second comment on that link from a DWF.

Mike Tyson 5'10 Fought many 6'6 6'7' fighters and KO'D most of them

Not sure that is true. Tyson was KO'd by 6'6 white journeyman Kevin McBride.

He struggled with 6'5 Tony Tucker even when in his prime.

Tyson came along at a very weak time (mid 80s) and mopped up the scrubs like Tony Tubbs and Carl Williams.

Yes, he was KO'd by McBride but to be fair that was when Tyson wasn't in his prime. I didn't see the fight with Tucker so I can't say.

i think he did this match because he had financial problems
he wasn't ready
he ruined his legend by doing this but well....good for us!

( when i saw tyson in the movie "the hangover" i could not believe what i saw, he was so embarassing, this guy could do anything for money now, i can picture him in the streets asking people to punch him in the face for a few dollars, it would not surprise me )

All of Tyson's fights after his incarceration were done for money. He clearly wasn't same fighter that he was before prison. That being said, a prime Tyson would get killed by the Klitschko brothers, Boystov, and a few of the other Beasts from the East fighting today. He was good in his prime just not the superman that all the boxing "experts" and DWF's try and make him out to be.

Tyson was way past his prime when he lost to Mcbride,he lost to Danny Williams the year before.Mcbride still took some big shots in that fight that would have put away most other journeyman.I root for White athletes but in all honesty Mcbride wasnt very good though he was strong and big at 6'6 and 270,he had a similar build to an NFL lineman just didnt possess the hand speed or skills to reach top level, his size and strengh though was enough for him to carve out a good career.

Prime Tyson struggled with all tall fighters. The Tucker fight wasn't the first sign he had problems with them, when he fought James Tillis he barely beat him on ABC. He then had the problems with Tucker and couldn't wobble James "Bonecrusher" Smith(even though he won nearly every round). After his prime skills wise he was ko'd by Douglas and had two give and take wars with Ruddock. Tyson would struggle mightily with any tall and in his prime fighter and would be a long shot to beat either prime K brother. I don't think Boystov has proven anything yet so you can't favour him to beat Tyson.

Have you watched Boystov fight? I'd favor him with a prime Tyson any day.

He doesn't have a notable win yet. Until he beats somebody in the top 15 I can't rate him. I have seen the win over Greer, and it was too hard to tell what kind of ability he has as his opponent was a mediocre club fighter.

Yeah, Boytsov is about 6'1 and weighed 213 for his last fight. That is way too small in today's heavyweight division.

You don't consider wins over Fernely Feliz and Taras Bydenko notable wins? Don't forget his incredible 82 percent knockout percentage. He usually fought at 220 I don't know why he weighed 213 last fight.

Bydenko was a good crossroads win among prospects. Feliz was a resume padding win. Like I said he is decent blue chip prospect but really hasn't proven anything beyond that.

Which brings me to my pet peeve - the stoopid light weight classes are separated by ridiculous 2 or 3 pounds, but there's no legitimate place in boxing for guys weighing a little over 200 (like me).

This black midget would stand no chance against Vitali.

We all know what black boxers are all about now. Eastern Euros did beat them for decades at the Olympics and they beat them now as well, for nearly 15 years, once communism collapsed and they became professional.

Vitali by KO in the 7th.

I made a thread about this on the useless ESB, their Classic forum. The **** and wigs of course insist that Tyson, Clay, Uncle LeRoy - fill in the Negro name - would destroy Doctor K.

Tyson fought in the era that only African Americans could fight for the title pretty much. I can think of at least 100 superior eastern European boxers and athletes who would KO him easier than Lennox Lewis did. The man never fought against an eastern European, so he can't be considered great in my mind!

Being the American champion is not that special to me. If you want to be called a world champion you have to fight boxers from all over the world and fight outside your country too. Americans fight in 99,9% of the cases in their backyard, please!

Tyson fought in 95% of the cases other blacks from the American ghettos.....bravo he was the Kimbo Slice of the 80's. I am so impressed.......NOT!
