Good picture, but I don't think they were racers. They look like casual wheelmen in a local riding club, maybe in Germany. Amongst lots of other goofy sports I've done bike racing, with the historic Century Road Club in New York City, but that was long ago when we still used big wheeled "old ordinaries"!
