Greg Marshall was a CFL version of Mike Alstott when he played in the 90's. I wonder what excuse American commentators will use if this loss becomes common ? In boxing and track and field the "best athletes" are in the NFL or NBA. For games like this the answers will be more creative. Maybe they will say the best athletes are hooked on drugs or in jail........:thumbdown:

The real question that needs answering is the ratio of Whites to nonwhites on both teams.

Here are the rosters, with photos included: http://internationalbowl2012.com/2012/teams/

Click on the top of the page to for links to both squads.

Not counting the punter and kickers, USA has like a dozen whites, including two white WR's and a white safety, which is surprising. After that, it's very predicitable...only other whites are pretty much OL's and QB's....Players that have photos on the international team include many non-white "Canadians". Several have obvious African names (recent immigrants, asylum seekers?), mixed in with a few mulatto's and Asians.

Even the "international" team has to have the proper non-White Caste appearance.

Yes, notice how Canada had the entire rainbow -- Chinese LB, Paki/Indy lineman, African speed guys, ect... I wonder what a "international" team would've looked like in the 1980's or prior? My guess is it would've been almost totally white, considering a significant number of players are from Canada and Western Europe. I bet things probably began to change in the mid 1990's. NFL Europe once had a deal where every team used to have a certain number of foreign or "National players" on each team. I can remember most of the "Brits" were dark black. Same with a significant number of French players. Germans and Russians did seem to be mostly white.

The most notable Euro I can remember was a white guy named Scott McCready, a WR born and raised in Scotland, who played college ball in the U.S. (D-I). He was jerked around for several years on NFL P-squads (Patriots), then finally stopped playing young. I think the only Euro's that will likely get a fair shake in the future are linemen (mostly O-Line like Sebastian Vollmer) and kickers and punters. Otherwise, it will be more of the current whites need not apply situation.

For a good Euro player currently in college ball see Margus Hunt of SMU.

Also, I remember Scott Regimbald, an undersized white TE, who tore people up at the Univ of Houston and later played in the CFL.

Negroes are not team players.

They had the Can-Am bowl in the late 70's for about 2 years and the Canadian team for what I remember of it was all White. They did get blown out though in the first game something like 30 to 3. Oh and I made a mistake on the coach for the International team, Blake Marshall was the CFL version of Alstott the younger brother of Greg.

Thanks WIR. I don't follow Canadian football much, but I know from time to time there are some solid white Canadians that make runs at landing a roster spot in the NFL. In recent years goys like Jesse Lumsden, Andy Fantuz, Sam Giguere and Jason Clearmont have been hyped as potential players, but nothing came of it.

Two best Canadian prospects I can remember, however, that got totally screwed over by the Caste NFL were Tim Tindale and Don Blair.

Tindale was a lightning fast RB from Western Ontario, who actually played with Buffalo briefly and did good things despite limited carries. Even had a big playoff game -- had an almost 50 yard TD run in a mid-90's playoff game. He was quickly purged from the league, however, with the excuse that he had an injury. Most injuries are NOT career ending (except David Pollack's injury), but for whites at Caste positions, any excuse to release them will be used.

Blair was a super fast WR from the Calgary Dinos, who excelled at the East-West game in the mid-90's. He did so well, that ESPN announcer for that game Mel Kosher Jr., who picked the players for the Hula Bowl, said on the air "I'd like to take this kid to Hawaii next week". He went and excelled, but still wasn't drafted. Wound up signing with the Bears. Horrible move. Caste-clown Wannstedt, who had just cut ex-entrenched starter Tom Waddell, seemed to give him no chance. He eventually went to the CFL and played well for many years.

Tim Tindale should have been allowed to play tailback as he was an over stuffed 220 pounder. Granted he played fullback like a utility tailback, but it was obvious from watching tapes or the games live that he didn't have the bulk to play a pounding role like Moose Johnson. I remember after he received an injury settlement from the Bears and his career in the NFL was over he didn't bother to play in the CFL as the pay was too poor for the risk he was taking for his health. These days more Canadian Whites are getting chosen by NFL clubs than ever but their only the big guys or kickers. The tailbacks and receivers are only given long shot chances and must be superman in training camp to make the roster. See Fantuz or Lumsden (to a lesser extent because of injuries). Black Canadian prospects in the speed positions don't seem to have this problem as even a guy from Toronto who played for Harvard made the Colts for a season or two.
