He reminds me of a male version of Babe Didrikson or the "gorilla" Jackee Joyner-Kersee...

Klech's size and overall athletic ability is similar to Trey Hardee. I wonder if he ever thought about the decathalon?

If he tried the TJ, he'd probably make the Top 10 in that too.

Trackster David Klech Will Not Return Next Season
Freshman hurdler/jumper has been granted a release from his scholarship

June 15, 2007

Freshman hurdler/jumper David Klech has been granted a release from his scholarship by the UCLA track and field team. He will not return to the Bruins next season.

Klech, one of the most heralded prep athletes in recent history, struggled with injuries throughout most of his freshman season and competed in only three outdoor meets. Klech's next destination has not been decided.

"It's been a really frustrating year for me as far as my performance, and I'm looking forward to a fresh start to achieve the goals I have for myself in the future," said Klech.

Head Coach Art Venegas
"David is a wonderful young man and we enjoyed having him at UCLA this past year. We wish him well in his future."

Hey everyone,

is it possible to include metric measurements with your imperial results.
Feet and inches don't mean anything outside the U.S.

Thanks guys, Edited by: mastermulti

From what I have seen it looks like Klech has filled out. It will be interesting to see what Klech will do with the extra muscle mass on his frame. Before he looked more like an endurance athlete.
