I taped it and watched it last night. First this is an important match because it featured white speed vs. black speed. Blake is half white and they kept showing his white mother in the stands but for the media and society his speed is due to black genes.so the white part is kind of useless in regards to stereotyping.. Anyway it feels great to see a speedy white athlete beat a black opponent. I could be wrong but the media appears to get nervous if a white athlete like Hewitt flashes more speed than a black guy like Blake who the media constantly praises for his speed. Oddly or not so oddly they only showed the second tie breaking set that Hewitt won to even the match at one game apiece. Hewitt went on to crush Blake the next two sets but ESPN2 skipped that part. What I like about Lleyton is he is one feisty son of a gun who isn't afraid of playing a black athlete. Some american athletes should take note.
