I dig it..
for a while Virginia had a Lee-(Stonewall) Jackson- MLK holiday.
When the states were asked to recognize MLK day back in the 80s, Virginia lawmakers said the only way they would ratify it, was if Lee & Jackson got on the holiday as well.
I left VA for many years, & learned that like 10-15 years ago, the libs severed the holiday (to give King a stand alone day). Now the preceding Friday is quietly recognized as Lee-Jackson Day & Monday is the high-profile MLK celebration.. what can ya do..

There is really only one single person who has his own holiday in the USSA now, the communist riot starter with an arrest record as long as your arm, including arrests for such things as chasing one of his white female volunteers through a hotel in Sweden stark naked, Michael King, alias "the reverend doctor Martin Luther King Jr".. Jesus' birthday has now been reduced to Holiday-Chanuka-Kwanza-Christmas. Columbus still has a holiday but it is almost totally disrespected and widely ignored. Actually they should call it Stanley Levison Day since Mr Levison of the KGB-financed National lawyers Guild wrote King's speeches for him.

MLK, Robert E. Lee Shared Holiday Upsets Some Mississippi Residents
SOUTHAVEN, MS (anc24.com) - Parents in Desoto County were outraged to learn that Mississippi schools honor Robert E. Lee day on the same day as MLK day. That's because in Mississippi, Robert E. Lee Day is a state holiday.
Woody Jordan, who has a daughter that attends Hope Sullivan Elementary in Southaven, told abc24.com, "If this is a Mississippi hero then they need to make plans to move all blacks out of Mississippi or they need to amend their ways."
"The difference between King and Lee is like night and day," Jordan added. "When I think of Lee, his name is synonymous with slavery, rape, brutality, murder, Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, black codes."
Angela Musgrove told abc24.com she's not against a Lee Holiday, but she said, "I don't think they should do it on the same day; it's not right."
Robert E. Lee day is also a state holiday in Arkansas, Alabama, and Georgia.
