An article entitled "Why the West is dying"

Over on Vdare's blog, Steve Sailer linked to a piece by a NYT writer about France kicking out a bunch of gypsies. In the article, the Gypsies were the innocent victims of lies, hate and vicious stereotypes that have no basis in truth. The author says that everywhere he went in Europe he was warned about how Gypsies will rob you, and the tricks they use to do so. Of course, being a good liberal, the writers knows that these are nothing but racist lies that white people have made up only because they hate Gypsies for having dark skin, and now the poor, innocent Gypsies are once again being victimized by white racists.

So Gypsies like to go out in large numbers, surround innocent victims and steal from them by the implicit threat of force, but they're not to blame for their actions. It's the white government's fault. Gypsies are colored, which means that they can never be held responsible for any bad things they do, because they were forced into it by the white man. Just like "conservatives"Â￾ in America blame the inner cities on "liberals"Â￾ and "welfare"Â￾ which supposedly destroyed the strong black family structure. Which is a complete myth, but believing and telling each other lies beats blaming colored people for their behavior. That would be "racist"Â￾, you see. So we're left with the spectacle of a man writing to say he remembers how Gypsies would constantly rob people by surrounding them in large numbers, but they weren't to blame for these actions.

What a sick, sick country we've become.

In general Gypsies are so backwards that welfare is seen as a step up in society. I remember seeing a documentary on the Roma being beaten within an inch of their lives in the Czech Republic and the Gypsies found out about Canada having liberal refugee laws and generous welfare payments for refugees. It seemed like entire villages applied for refugee status. I also have seen professional beggars that are Gypsies in downtown Toronto. At one time their was a shaking lady that made up to 200 day begging. Her son used to pick her up and drop her off every day and then they went into the suburbs, living in a working class apartment. After the scam was exposed the family fled to a new city to start the begging again.

I never understand this thing with Gypsies, they live outside in Europe and american contient for more then 1000 years but they are still illegal, do they not want to participate in Society or can't they?

A large number of gypsies dont help themselves with their behaviour. In their favour though - they were exterminated just like the jews in the WW2 - yet as they dont have any rich kindreds at the head of world governments there was noone to get them some land after the war, and most of them were left homeless in places where they werent welcome. They are by far the biggest enthnic group with no homeland in Europe.

Not trying to justify them here at all (ie - be the 'white liberal'), its just that i lived in Slovakia a few years back (where there are many gypsies) for a while and i saw 2 sides to the story - yes a lot of them do steal and cause problems, but at the same time some of them dont, yet they are hated on by the slavs and given zero chance to get education or a job except for cleaning the toilets.

I was the victim of an attempted mugging last November, in broad daylight, on a sidewalk near my hotel on Independence Square in Florence, by two men who had the appearance by their dress of gypsies. I'm 80, but I was able to fend them off by loud shouting and by banging one against the wall while keeping his hand out of my pocket. Shouting "Escuse! Escuse", they disappearedâ€"much to my relief, as bringing charges would only have been destructive of my holiday!

And I vividly recall being in the little town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in the Camargue on the shores of the Med in Southern France several years ago, during a large gypsy encampment of mobile vans, some very expensive. On the streets during this Festival Of Saint Sarah, one constantly had to guard one's wallet and person from nimble bands of thieving children.

So I have sympathy for the Italiansâ€" protecting their citizens, and the vital dollars brought by tourists, from such assaults.

Yeah right. That's why there was more of both of those charming tribes after the war than there was before. Yep, more yids in the world after WW2 than before (re Jewish Encyclopedia and World Almanac)...but then the "Holocaust (HollowHoax) wasn't even invented until the 1970's!).

Gypsies go around the world gypping people, low level street hustlers; Jews do it on a much larger international scale. Gypsies call non-Gypsies gayo; Jews call non-Jews goyim. Interesting.
