WTF are you guys dense? The main story, the headline story, right there, smacking every web surfer in the face:

They dig up a white player from years ago and make him the feature story when they could have picked a dozen black guys from just 2 or 3 drafts ago?
 
The media will take any white athlete with a drug problem and report on that one guy forever. Actually, a white guy with any vice is the one they will make sure you never forget. Mantle and his drinking, Art Schlister and his gambling, Brett Favre and his pain killer addiction. It never ends with the media. Even Ty Cobb's racism gets rehashed every few years.

Anyone care to add other white poster boys the media never lets us forget. Here's one, Bobby Cox and his wife beating.
 
Ty Cobb racist? This is a guy in the 1930s said that Blacks should be allowed to play baseball, and in the 1950s said that the only player he would pay to see play is Willie Mays.
You stick up for black people and they never treat you with respect.
